The invention relates to a plant having at least one material roll preparation arrangement for bringing a material roll carrying a material web to be drawn in into a defined initial situation, and having at least one material web working/processing arrangement, in particular material web dispensing arrangement, in particular material web unrolling arrangement, in particular material web splicing arrangement, which material web working/processing arrangement is capable, owing to the defined initial situation of the material roll, of receiving the material roll in automated fashion and preferably receiving the material web in automated fashion and/or preparing the material web in automated fashion.

Material web drawing-in apparatus

The invention relates to a material web drawing-in apparatus for drawing in a material web. The material web drawing-in apparatus comprises at least one material web holding device for holding the material web to be drawn in, and at least one guide for guiding the at least one material web holding device from a material web drawing-in point to a material web transfer point, and also at least one drawing-in drive which is in connection with the at least one material web holding device and which serves for displacing the at least one material web holding device along the at least one guide upon drawing in the material web to be drawn in in the direction of the material web transfer point.

The invention relates to a corrugated cardboard plant. The invention relates to a connecting cut assembly for producing connecting cuts in a material web being conveyed. The connecting cut assembly comprises at least one knife device with a cutting knife for cutting engagement with the material web to produce a connecting cut in the material web. Moreover, the at least one knife device has an actuatable cutting knife angle adjusting device for setting a respective cutting knife angle of the cutting knife to the material web. The connecting cut assembly comprises at least one presetting unit for actuating the respective cutting knife angle adjusting device.

A heating device of a two-sided machine has a stand which has a first arcuate hot plate and a wall on which a sleeve is provided. A second arcuate hot plate is arranged above the first arcuate hot plate. The second arcuate hot plate is connected to the sleeve by a connecting stem. The stand includes a cylinder unit, the piston rod of which is connected to the trailing end of the second arcuate hot plate. A second corrugated-cardboard ply and a first corrugated-cardboard ply are guided so as to run between the hot plates, whereas a third corrugated-cardboard ply is guided so as to run, above the second arcuate hot plate, through the second arcuate hot plate. The second arcuate hot plate is lowered by the cylinder unit in order to be placed in connection with the second corrugated-cardboard ply.

The invention concerns a corrugating roll for producing a corrugated web, having a fluting, from a material web. The corrugating roll has a corrugating roll body, a central longitudinal axis, a peripheral direction about the central longitudinal axis and a surface fluting with at least one first corrugating tooth, which is arranged peripherally on the corrugating roll body, and at least one second corrugating tooth arranged peripherally on the corrugating roll body and which differs from the at least one first corrugating tooth for reducing corrugating roll operation-related vibrations.

The invention concerns a splicing facility for splicing material webs. The splicing facility comprises a first dispensing device for dispensing a finite first material web from a first material web roll, a second dispensing device for dispensing a finite second material web from a second material web roll, a third dispensing device for dispensing a third material web, a first splicing device for splicing together the finite first material web and the finite second material web to an endless material web and a second splicing device for splicing together the third material web and the finite first material web or the finite second material web to the endless material web. The first splicing device and the second splicing device are arranged at different heights.

The corrugated-board machine further comprises a print-web transfer arrangement for transferring the print-web to the corrugated-board manufacturing line and for the use of the same as a lamination-web.

The invention relates to a machine for the manufacture of a web of corrugated board which is conveyed in a working direction and comprises at least one smooth liner and at least one corrugated medium that has corrugation tips and corrugation troughs, the corrugated medium being applied by adhesion to the at least one liner at least in the vicinity of the corrugation troughs, wherein a quality assessment device for assessment of the quality of the adhesive bond between the at least one liner and the at least one corrugated medium is provided, which comprises at least one ultrasonic transmitter that is disposed on one side of the web of corrugated board and at least one ultrasonic receiver that is disposed on the opposite side of the web of corrugated board and is allocated to the at least one ultrasonic transmitter; and a control anti evaluation unit which, in a manner for data transmission, is connected to the at least one ultrasonic receiver for evaluation of the signal of the ultrasonic receiver.

A method of manufacturing fluted rolls, in particular for corrugating machines, comprises the steps of providing a fluted-roll blank which has a central longitudinal axis and a longitudinal direction that is parallel thereto and a surface; providing a grinding device for grinding, on the surface, flutings that run in the longitudinal direction, with the flutings comprising heads and roots that are parallel to each other and are regularly and alternately distributed along the circumference of the surface; and grinding fluting heads on the surface by means of the grinding device, with the fluting heads having the same cross-sectional curvature in the longitudinal direction.
