A cladding element having a heating layer in a sandwich construction. In the case of a cladding element in a sandwich construction for an interior space of an aircraft, the cladding element includes a core layer and a first cover layer. The first cover layer forms a visible side of the cladding element. An electrically heating layer extends at least across a sub-face of the first cover layer and serves for generating heat for emission through the first cover layer is disposed between the core layer and the first cover layer.

The invention relates to a cabin air inlet module (). The cabin air inlet module () comprises a streaming channel body (). The streaming channel body () comprises at least one wall which limits a streaming channel wherein incoming air () is supplied to a zone () of a cabin (). The cabin air inlet module () comprises an electric heating element () which is used for heating the incoming air (). According to the invention it is proposed that the electric heating element () is embodied as a two-dimensional heating element (in particular as a heating paper, a heating web, a heating foil or a heating varnish). The two-dimensional heating element extends along a wall of the streaming channel body (). The inventive cabin air inlet module () is arranged upstream with a small distance () from an inlet opening () into the zone () of the cabin (). The inventive cabin air inlet module () is used for a tempering zones () of a cabin () of an airplane according to the needs.

In a method for manufacturing a sandwich component having a first and a second flat side, in a pre-assembly state all components of the sandwich component in relation to one another are placed in a nominal position: at least one shape-imparting structural layer and a conductor layer having an electrical conductor, and are connected in an assembly step with an adhesive, wherein in the pre-assembly state on both sides of the conductor layer two barrier layers which are vapor-tight are placed as further components and interconnected in such a manner that said two barrier layers enclose the conductor in a vapor-tight manner. A sandwich component having flat sides, manufactured according to the above method, has at least the structural layer and the conductor layer with the conductors, said structural and conductor layers being disposed between the flat sides and connected with the adhesive, and on both sides of the conductor layer the barrier layers as further components are interconnected in such a manner that said two barrier layers enclose the conductor in a vapor-tight manner.

A light-emitting composite arrangement for stationary arrangement in an interior of an aircraft is provided. The light-emitting composite arrangement has a base layer, a covering layer and a core portion at least partially provided between the base layer and the covering layer. The covering layer can be a prepreg layer. A lighting device is integrated in the core portion. The covering layer is cured with the lighting device integrated in the core portion.

This disclosure generally pertains to connectors having a signal contact assembly containing a plurality of rod-shaped signal contact members, generally cylindrical dielectric material encasing the sides of the signal contact members and a generally cylindrical conductive shield in contact with the dielectric material. The signal contact assembly along with rod-shaped power contact members are placed in the connector. This combination can be considered to be in the nature of a connector within a connector. The connector can transmit data at 100 Mbps or greater along with power while minimizing the space required for the contacts. The connectors may be generally circular in cross-section.
