A method for producing a vehicle substructure with at least one first component, and also a vehicle substructure, are described herein. The first component is connectable to a second component by an installation connection. The first component is manufactured from a material which is not suitable for reversible deformations. A latching device having a deformable latching element is attached here to the first component. For this purpose, the first component is inserted into an injection molding device and is insert-molded with a reversibly deformable plastic. The latching device is produced here by injection molding and attached to the first component.

Front diffusers are provided on a front underbody covering of a vehicle, in a manner lying laterally on the inside next to the two front wheel houses. Each front diffuser has a longitudinally directed air duct integrated into the front underbody covering and has a pivotable flap. The flap is connected to an actuating device that can be actuated by a switch in the passenger compartment for shifting the device between a first position flush with the outer skin and a second upwardly pivoted position. The second, upwardly pivoted position of the front diffuser or of the flap produces an increase in downforce at the front axle.

A device and a method for fastening, clamping, or adjusting a molding part to a body-mounted part are provided. To allow the absorption of large tensile forces, a tensioning element designed as a tension strut is provided, which includes at least one oblong element made of fiber-reinforced plastic. The length of the tensioning element is adjustable between two end positions via a bracing device.

A rear wing device for a motor vehicle has a wing body which extends transversely with respect to a longitudinal direction of the vehicle and horizontally and is disposed laterally between two side parts extending parallel to the longitudinal direction and vertically. The wing body is fastened to each side part by a retaining device, wherein the retaining devices permit adjustment of an angle of attack of a profile of the wing body in relation to a horizontal orientation. The adjustability of the wing body can be improved in that each retaining device has a guide body which can be adjusted by an adjusting screw along the adjusting screw and is coupled via a first guide pin to a wing support to which the wing body is attached. The wing support can be adjusted in a manner guided by a second guide pin and a third guide pin in slideways.

Rear wing device

A collision protection device for the occupants of a motor vehicle having a fabric air bag having a top part, a bottom part and a plurality of catch belts arranged within the air bag. The catch belts are formed by the fabric segments of the reinforcing parts mounted on the inside of the top and bottom parts of the bag. The fabric segments being set in the direction of the interior space of the air bag and are sewn together in an overlapping configuration in the center zone to form a joint between the top and bottom parts of the air bag. Each of the catch belts is at least double-layered and extends into the interior space between the top and bottom parts of the air bag, each of the layers being connected with each other in the joint formed at the center zone.

Collision protection device for the occupants of a motor vehicle

A restraining device for motor vehicle occupants has an inflation device, a housing, and an inflatable airbag connected with the housing. In order to provide a simple and inexpensive airbag attachment to the housing with a functionally correct grip, provision is made for the airbag to abut the outside of the housing by at least one suspender-like section.
