A filter apparatus has a filter housing () accommodating at least one filter element () having an inner filter cavity () enclosed by a filter medium (). The housing () contains an element bolder () that interacts with the filter element () located in its functional position. The element holder () has a projecting accommodating part () with an outer configuration adapted to the shape of an opening () located at the end of the filter element () to be secured to the element holder (). The accommodating part () fits through the opening () of the filter element () located in the functional position.

Filter apparatus

A filter element for a filter device has a filter housing (). The filter element () includes a receiving part () which, when the filter element () is located in the filter housing () in the operational position, comes into fluid communication with a housing part () of the filter housing () to form a fluid connection (). The receiving part () of the filter element () has an inner, first guiding path () for sealing contact to the housing part () of the filter housing () according to a first mode of construction and an outer, second guiding path () for sealing contact to the housing part () of the filter housing () according to a second mode of construction.

Filter element for a filter device

A filter device has a filter element () in a filter housing (). Corresponding threads () form a screw connection between a housing cover () of the filter housing () and the filter element (). A seal () is between the filter element () and the housing cover (). The screw connection is formed by threads () on a connecting pipe piece () that is part of an end cap () of the filter element () and that extends into the inner filter cavity () and by the threads () of the housing cover (). The housing cover threads () are on a receiving pipe piece () formed by a separate component attached to the housing cover ().

Filter device

A filter device with a filter body () has a filter bowl () and a filter head () formed by a removable locking piece of the filter bowl (). The filter head () has a connection point () for an unfiltrate flow and a connection point () for discharging a filtrate flow. A filter element () containing filter material () is connected between the connection points () and is disposed inside the filter bowl () for the filtration of the unfiltrate, specifically for particle contamination. A flow directing device () directs the unfiltrate flow to the surface sections of the filter material () of the filter element () to provide a filtering action when the device is in operation. The flow directing device is a molded component () that belongs to the filter head () and to which a fluid flow is applied.

A filter apparatus has a filter housing () accommodating at least one filter element () having an inner filter cavity () enclosed by a filter medium (). A device for the suction filtration of fluids, such as urea solutions for exhaust gas after-treatment systems, has a tank () storing the fluid, and a filter element () arranged in the tank and provided with a filter medium () separating the tank contents from a clean-side inner filter cavity (). The filter cavity extends from the bottom () of the tank () to a filling level height () and corresponds to a part of the filling volume of the tank (). On the filter cavity (), a suction connection () discharges the cleaned fluid by a suction pressure corresponding to a system operating pressure. The filter element () is provided with a filter medium (), which is air-impermeable if suction pressures are within the range of a low system operating pressure.

Device for the suction filtration of fluids

A filter device has a filter element () received in a filter housing () and has a holding device () for detachably fixing the filter element in the filter housing (). Corresponding threads () form a screw connection between a housing cover () of the filter housing () and the filter element (). A sealing device () imparts a sealing action between the filter element () and the housing cover (). The screw connection is formed by threads () situated in the interior () of the filter element (). The thread () assigned to the filter element () is situated on a connecting pipe piece () that, as a constituent part of an end cap () of the filter element (), extends into the inner filter cavity () of the filter element (). The thread () assigned to the housing cover () is situated on a receiving pipe piece (), which can be screwed to the connecting pipe piece () of the filter element (). The receiving pipe piece is formed by a separate component in the form of a pipe piece () attached to the housing cover ().

A filtering apparatus includes a pot-type filter housing (), a filter element () accommodated in the housing, a holding mechanism () disposed in the filter housing () to removably fix the filter element along its longitudinal axis, and a sealing device () that seals between a lid () of the filter housing () and the filter element (). The holding mechanism () is provided with cooperating holding elements embodied on the interior face of the filter housing () as well as on the filter element (). The filtering apparatus dispenses with the need for O-seals that are known in prior art and extend in a radial direction between the filter element and the filter head as a housing lid because the sealing device () encompasses at least one sealing edge () or sealing surface placed parallel to the longitudinal axis in a radial direction and seals under the effect of the pressure applied it by the holding mechanism (). The invention further relates to a filter element that is to be used in such filtering apparatus.

Filtering apparatus and filter element

A filter device has a filter housing () releasably accommodating one filter element () and has a housing pot () surrounding the filter element () and a removably attachable housing head () with fluid passage () for the discharge of filtrate. A valve device in the fluid passage includes a closing body () blocking the discharge flow in its closed position and facilitates the discharge flow in its release position. A locking device includes a blocking member () locking the closing body () in its closed position. The blocking member () can move out of its locking position into its unlocking position by a control element () on the filter element (). When the filter element () is situated in its functional position in the housing pot (), the control element impacts the blocking member () as the housing head () is attached to the housing pot () to move the blocking member axially to its unblocking position.

A filter device has a filter housing () receiving a filter element () defining a longitudinal axis and being in the form of a filter cartridge. An end cap () forms an enclosure for the relevant end rim of the filter material (). The end cap fixes the position of the filter element () in its functional position by being on an element receiver () that interacts with the bottom part () of the filter housing (). The element receiver () and the assigned end cap () of the filter element (), on their parts (and) coming into engagement with one another in the functional position of the filter element are provided with shaped irregularities matched to one another to enable the engagement in a positional relationship directed towards one another.

Filter device and filter element for use with such a filter device

A filter device, in particular a return line suction filter, has at least one filter housing () receiving a filter element () defining a longitudinal axis. The filter element has an end cap with an enclosure at one filter element end enclosing an end edge of the filter material () and fixed to an element receptacle () connected to the filter housing () for fixing the location of the filter element () in its functional position. The element receptacle () and the associated end cap () of the filter element () have design irregularities () adapted to each other at their parts () engaging each other in the functional position of the filter element (). The irregularities enable the engagement in a positional alignment to each other.

Filter device, in particular return line suction filter, and filter element for use in such a filter device

A filter device having a filter element () forming a body extending along a longitudinal axis received in a housing () closed by a cover part (). A sealing arrangement () is provided to form a fluid-tight seal between the housing () and the cover part (). The sealing arrangement () is a component of a filter element () and is fixed to a sealing carrier () rigidly connected to the filter element.

Filter device and filter element

A filter element () for filtering fluids, such as hydraulic fluids or gases, is in a filter housing () having an inlet () for the fluid to be filtered, an outlet () for the filtered fluid. The filter element has a data storage (). Data stored in the data storage () is electronically readable from the data storage () by a read and/or write device (). An antenna () extends outside the data storage () and provides the signal coupling between the data storage () and the read and/or write device (). The antenna () extends at least in sections about a longitudinal axis () of the filter element () such that independently from the angular position of the filter element () and the attached data storage () a signal coupling between the data storage () and the read and/or write device () is ensured.

A modular unit has at least one filter (), pump () and cooling unit () fluidically connected to each other by a connection module () and connected to a tank unit (). The connection module () opens out inside () the tank unit with a suction opening (), together with the cooling unit () when the tank unit is connected (). The filter unit () and pump unit () are arranged outside the tank unit (). The modular unit can then be placed on and connected to a tank unit. The cooling unit protrudes inside the tank unit.
