A single-lever mixing valve has a housing, a cartridge fixed in the housing and having an actuating element pivotal about an element axis for adjusting flow through the cartridge, and an actuating shaft centered on the element axis, fixed in the actuating element, and having a first end formed with an axially open threaded bore and an opposite second end formed with an axially oppositely open grooved seat. The ends of the shaft are generally flush with an outer surface of the cartridge. An actuating lever has first and second connecting pins extending along the element axis and juxtaposed with the respective ends of the shaft. A screw projecting through the first pin and threaded into the bore of the first shaft end fixes the first pin to the first shaft end relative to the element axis. An adapter has an inner end nonrotatably fitted but axially displaceable in the grooved seat of the second shaft end and an outer end juxtaposed with the second pin of the actuating lever. This outer end is releasably fixed on the second pin of the lever.

Single-lever mixing valve

A valve has a housing having a nonrotatable polygonal-section stem centered on a valve axis and a spindle coaxial with the stem, projecting axially therefrom, and formed with at least one peripheral tooth. A valve actuator has an electric drive motor having a housing and a drive shaft projecting from the housing along the axis and a sleeve fixed to the drive-motor housing coaxially with the shafts and formed with a seat complementarily engageable with the polygonal-section stem. Thus the sleeve and drive-motor housing are rotationally locked to the stem. A coupling fixed on the drive shaft fits complementarily over the spindle at the tooth thereof to rotationally interconnect the spindle and drive shaft and a rotary potentiometer in the sleeve between the coupling and the drive motor has a rotary part fixed on the drive shaft and a nonrotating part fixed on the motor housing.

Motor actuator for valve

A thermostatically controlled mixer battery. The appropriate mixer battery having plate control means 2 comprising at least one rotatable control plate 24 for controlling the quantity of water delivered and manually actuable from externally by a user, the plate 24 having bores 243, 244 selectively alignable with hot and cold water inlet bores 233, 234 and a temperature control plate 25, which is thermostatically actuated and is sealingly displaceable relative to the quantity control plate 24, the plate 25 having bores 253, 254 formed therein which permit the hot and cold water to pass therethrough in a desired ratio to a mixing chamber 15.
