Thermoplastic polyurethanes are obtainable by reacting (a) isocyanates with (b1) polyesterdiols having a melting point greater than 150-C, (b2) polyetherdiols and/or polyesterdiols, each having a melting point of less than 150-C and a molecular weight of from 501 to 8 000 g/mol, and, if required, (c) diols having a molecular weight of from 62 to 500 g/mol.

Thermoplastic polyurethanes

Thermoplastic polyurethane (i) comprising from 20% by weight to 70% by weight of isocyanate dissolved in the thermoplastic polyurethane, based on the total weight of the thermoplastic polyurethane (i) comprising the isocyanates.

Isocyanate-containing thermoplastic polyurethane

Thermoplastic polyurethanes are obtainable by reacting (a) isocyanates with (b1) polyesterdiols having a melting point greater than 150&#xb0; C., (b2) polyetherdiols and/or polyesterdiols, each having a melting point of less than 150&#xb0; C. and a molecular weight of from 501 to 8000 g/mol, and, if required, (c) diols having a molecular weight of from 62 to 500 g/mol.

The invention relates to thermoplastic polyurethane with a Shore hardness of 45A to 80A, a tensile strength, according to DIN 53504, higher than 5 Mpa, a tear strength, according to DIN 53515 higher than 30 N/mm and an abrasion according to DIN 53516 of less than 250 mm .
