A blind rivet insert having a head forming an annular flange and a shank extending from an underside of the head, and having a head end, a foot end and a bore extending from the head end to the foot end. The insert has a first bore segment near the foot end, provided with an internal thread, and a second bore segment near the head end whose diameter is greater than that of the first bore segment. The underside of the head includes an annular groove adapted for receiving a sealing ring in a mounted condition of the blind rivet insert. An annular retaining shank groove extends circumferentially around the shank, is arranged adjacent to the underside of the head, and retains the sealing ring in a preloaded position before mounting the blind rivet insert.

An insert to be crimped on a support includes a body having a shank extending along a longitudinal axis and including a crimping section configured to deform into a crimping bead to crimp the insert on the support, and a flange presenting a surface facing the crimping section and extending along an axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, the flange having a constant thickness and presenting a fold forming a groove situated on the surface and designed to receive a seal. A fixing part includes the insert and a seal housed in the groove of the insert, and a fixing assembly includes the fixing part and a support on which the fixing part is crimped.

The present disclosure describes a connection insert, in particular a threaded insert, which is embeddable into a formed plastic component. This connection insert comprises a cylindrical main body having a radially outer side, a radially inner side as well as a first and a second axial end, at least one circumferential collar arranged at the radially outer side of the main body which has the largest outer diameter compared to the remaining main body and which is arranged spaced with respect to the first and the second axial end of the main body, and a radially protruding structure arranged at the radially outer side of the main body.
