A lifting rod for the lower steering arm of a tractor, at the ends of the lifting rod, has connecting elements in the form of a connecting yoke 6 and a ball joint 7. The connecting yoke 6, via a threaded rod 9, is threaded into a threaded bore 10 of a tubular rod element 11. The rod element 11 is received in the housing bore 21 of the housing 8 and is movable along the longitudinal axis 17. The rod element 11 and the housing 8 are able to assume two different positions relative to one another, with the lifting rod length being fixed in one of the two positions. In the other position, both may assume a floating relationship relative to one another. To allow the lifting rod length to be set even when the lifting rod is in the mounted condition and to ensure that both parts do not change their respective positions even when in use, it is proposed that in the rigid position, the plug-in pin 24 engages a recess 13 in the rod element, so that support is provided in the shortening direction and in the direction of rotation, whereas for the direction of extraction stops are provided to prevent any lengthening. After the plug-in pin 24 has been extracted, the rod element 11 can be turned by 90.degree., to enable the plug-in pin to pass through the slot 14 in the rod element 11. The lifting rod length is shortened, however rotation is prevented.

Lifting rod for the three-point attaching device of a tractor

A coupling hook (5) for the lower steering arms (3) of a three-point attaching device of a tractor has a hook body (6) with a locking pawl (7). The pawl (7) is spring-loaded in the direction of the locking position. The locking pawl (7) is arranged in a recess (12) of the hook body (6) and projects through an aperture (13) into a bearing recess (10), which receives a bearing ball (11). For the purpose of supporting and guiding the locking pawl (7), the hook body (6) includes a first stop face (14), a second supporting stop (15) offset backwardly at a distance therefrom and a locking stop (16). In the locking position, the locking pawl (7) is supported on the looking stop (16) via a first supporting face (19), a second supporting face (21) and a locking face (22). The design is such that the contact between the locking face (22) and the locking stop (16) takes place below an imaginary connecting line (27) which is between the point of contact of the locking face (25) of the locking pawl (7) with the outer face (26) of the bearing ball (11), on the one hand, and the center (29) of the convex locking stop (16) on the other hand. An improved locking affect is ensured.

Coupling hook for the lower steering arms of a three-point attaching

The invention relates to a side strut (6) for the lower steering arm of a three-point hitch of a tractor. Locking catches (24, 25) are provided to cancel the floating position which the two telescopic members (14, 15) of the side strut 6 may assume relative to each other. The catches (24, 25) lock the members via locking contours (29, 30) of a locking recess 28, which surround and secure to a locking journal (31). The two locking catches (24, 25) are arranged at the sides of the telescopic members (14, 15). The locking catches have their pivot axis of the articulated journal (27) the points of contact between the locking contours (29, 30) and the locking journals (31), in a locked position, positioned on a connecting line. The line extends parallel to the sliding axis (16) and through the pivot axis of the ball eye (13). In this way, it is ensured that the locking catches (24, 25) and also the side strut (6), together, are not subject to any bending moments resulting from any tensile or compressive forces.

Side strut for the lower steering arm of a three-point hitch

The invention relates to a bearing ball (10, 11) for receiving the implement pin (8, 9) of an agricultural implement (1) in the catching jaw (7) of the catching hook (6) of a three-point connecting device (3) belonging to a tractor (2). The bearing ball comprises a hollow ball (2) with a cylindrical tube (14) passing through it. The central region of the cylindrical tube (14) has been provided with a formation (15) which extends radically and supports the inner face (13) of the hollow ball (12) in a force-free way. It secures the hollow ball (12) on the cylindrical tube (14) in the axial direction and permits relative rotation between the two. This provides better support because only the ends of the cylindrical tube (14) rest against the implement pin and bending of the cylindrical tube (14) no longer adversely affects the bearing ball.

Bearing ball for a three-point connecting device

A coupling hook assembly having a hook body defining an enclosed hook pocket with a locking bolt extending from a first aperture in the hook body into operative engagement with a hook jaw to lock and unlock an implement pin for joining a trailer with an agricultural tractor. The locking bolt is pivotally connected with an operating lever mounted on a fixed pivot within the hook body and extending through a second aperture therein. A yoke pivotally mounted on the operating lever is adapted to engage with a notch formed on the external surface of the hook body to secure the locking bolt in the locked position or into engagement with a recess in a part of the operating lever to secure the coupling hook assembly in the unlocked position.

A three-point tractor hitch system includes a coupling hook structure as the upper link thereof formed with a hook body defining a concave recess for receiving therein in locking engagement a coupling sphere. A locking bolt received within a rectilinear opening extends into the concave recess of the hook body with a curved locking surface adapted to engage the contour of the coupling sphere. The locking bolt is pivotally mounted at its opposite end to a control lever having a generally U-shaped recess formed therein to engage a bearing pin mounted on the hook body. The U-shaped recess has lateral sides arranged so that imaginary extensions thereof will intersect the axis of the locking bolt and bearing means are interposed between the control lever and the hook body on a side of the pivotal coupling of the locking bolt to the hook body opposite the side on which the U-shaped recess is formed. A bearing pin is located on the hook body to be engaged within the U-shaped recess of the control lever when the locking bolt extends into its locking position within the concave recess.
