A lanyard for a power tool includes at least two belts including a first belt and a second belt attached to each other at a single junction. The lanyard may also include an accessory mounted on the belt that is freely rotatable around the belt.

A lanyard for a power tool includes a belt; a connector having a first part connected to the belt at a first location along a length of the belt and a second part connected to the belt at a second location along the length of the belt, the first part being releasably attachable to the second part; and a lock configured to lock the first part to the second part.

A power tool assembly is provided including a portable power tool, at least one first auxiliary part connected in a functional manner to the portable power tool, and a lanyard mounted on the power tool and the at least one first auxiliary part to hold the at least one first auxiliary part functionally connected to the portable power tool when the power tool assembly is dropped. The lanyard may include a belt and a sheaf surrounding the belt, where visual information is provided on the external surface of the sheaf.

A tool holder system with first and second spindles, a locking ring slideably mounted on the first spindle, a first biasing mechanism biasing the locking ring towards an indentation position where the locking ring surrounds an indentation on the first spindle, and a moveable locking element mounted on the second spindle, the locking element being engageable to the indentation. The first spindle can be unlocked from the second spindle by sliding the locking ring away from the indentation position against the biasing force of the biasing mechanism and towards the second spindle. Such action moves the locking element to disengage from the indentation.

A handle assembly for a power tool is disclosed. The handle assembly has a handle (), a metal strip () for releasably mounting the handle assembly to the housing of a power tool, and a fastening mechanism () for tightening and loosening the metal strip on the housing of the power tool. Vibration dampers () are located between the handle and the fastening mechanism to damp vibrations transmitted from the fastening mechanism to the handle. Limited rotation of the handle relative to the metal strip is possibly, but rotation beyond predetermined limits causes the fastening mechanism to tighten and/or loosen the metal strip on the housing.

A mounting assembly for moveably mounting a handle of a power tool to a housing of the power tool is disclosed. The mounting assembly has a metal bar () mounted to a housing () of the power tool and a vibration damper () mounted to a handle () of the power tool and slidably mounted to the metal bar. The vibration damper includes a vibration damping member () for damping vibrations tending to cause the vibration damper to pivot relative to the metal bar about an axis substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the metal bar.

Mounting assembly for handle for power tool

A tool holder for a hand supported impacting machine, which tool holder is suitable for receiving a tool having a shank portion on which is formed a retaining collar. The tool holder includes a tubular main body for receiving the tool and at least one locking element moveably mounted with respect to the main body and having an engaging portion moveable between a radially inner locked position in which the engaging portion is engageable with the retaining collar of the tool and a radially outer unlocked position in which a tool can be inserted into or removed from the tool holder. The tool holder additionally comprises a manually actuable sleeve moveable between a locked position in which the locking elements are held in their locked position and an unlocked position in which the engaging portions of the locking elements are moveable to their unlocked position.

A suction cup dust extractor for a drill having a housing with a drill collar attached to the housing and having a drill passage formed through the housing. A recess formed by the walls of the housing has a planar opening and a seal is attached to the walls of the recess which surrounds the planar opening and which, in use, locates against a work piece to create an air tight seal between the housing and the work piece. The housing also has an aperture located thereon through which air can pass; at least one first air passage formed within the housing which enables air to pass from the drill passage to the aperture; and at least one second air passage formed within the housing which enables air to pass from the recess to the aperture; characterized in that the seal comprises a base which is attached to the walls of the recess and a flange which is attached to and extends from the base at an oblique angle to the plane of the opening.
