An unbalanced shaft is provided that has a center of mass eccentric to its rotational axis to generate a shaft unbalance. The unbalanced shaft includes a bearing journal having a variable width throughout its circumference, and a multi-row cage having rollers which roll on inner raceways arranged on an outer lateral surface of the bearing journal. The rollers and inner raceways define a load zone, within which a width of each of the inner raceways is greater than an effective length of the rollers idling thereon. At least one of the inner raceways, which extends circumferentially for 360 degrees, has a width throughout that is greater than an effective length of the rollers rolling thereon. For sections outside of the load zone, at least one of the inner raceways has a width less than the effective length of the rollers that roll thereon.

Unbalanced shaft

The disclosure relates to a tappet for acting on a pump piston of a high-pressure fuel pump of an internal combustion engine. The tappet includes a tubular housing, and at the upper annular end face of the tubular housing, two surfaces which are indented relative to the outer casing of the housing and comprise a pin that supports a cam roller, lie diametrically opposite each other. An upper end face of a transverse beam lies against axial inner end faces of the two surfaces. A transverse beam lower end face, which faces a lower annular end face of the housing, is provided with a pin, which protrudes from the housing and is surrounded by a spring plate supported against the inner casing of the housing. A sleeve-like inner collar of the spring plate guides the unstepped pin.

Tappet for acting on a pump piston of a high-pressure fuel pump

The disclosure relates to a roller tappet for a high-pressure fuel pump. The roller tappet includes a housing that accommodates a cam contact roller next to a drive-side annular face of the housing. A bridge piece sits on an inner lateral surface of the housing, after the cam contact roller, as viewed from the drive-side annular face. An outer end face of the bridge piece has a rest for a pump piston. A separate adapter bolt protrudes from the rest beyond the output-side annular face of the housing; an end face of the adapter bolt, remote from the bridge piece, serves as a direct rest for the pump piston. An annular disc sits next to the output-side annular face of the housing, and the bore of said annular disc surrounds and retains the adapter bolt.

Roller tappet for a high-pressure fuel pump

A roller tappet for a fuel pump includes an integral and hollow-walled guide housing, which has a drive-side edge that encloses a roller mounted on a pin. The ends of the pin are seated in openings in arranged in indented flat surfaces that originate from the drive-side edge and are diametrically opposite each other. An output-side edge of the guide housing has a bridge piece that extends continuously from an inner wall of the one of the flat surfaces to an inner wall of the other flat surface. The bridge piece projects beyond the inner wall towards the outer wall of the particular flat surface, and the output-side outer face of the bridge piece has a contact surface for a pump piston. The flat surfaces are completely continuous from the drive-side edge to the output-side edge of the guide housing.

Roller tappet for a fuel pump

A roller tappet for a fuel pump is provided that has a guide housing which includes a drive-side and output-side section of the same external diameter, and a separate support body extending longitudinally through the guide housing. An upper face on the drive-side section carries a pin with a roller thereon. A lower face of the output-side section interacts at least indirectly with an arrangement for a pump piston. The drive-side section and the output-side section are axially spaced rings connected to one another via the support body. The support body has a first ring area with the upper face and a second ring area with the lower face. The first ring area is connected to an inner jacket of the drive-side section and the second ring area is connected to an inner jacket of the output-side section.

The disclosure proposes a tappet with a housing which is composed of a drive-side and an output-side section. The drive-side section, at its outer end, has a roller and the output-side section, at its outer end, has a contact area for a follower part. The separate sections are axially spaced apart from one another and are connected to one another by a central rod piece.

Tappet for a fuel pump or for a valve drive

A balance shaft is proposed that includes: i) an unbalance shaft having an unbalance section and an adjacent bearing pin having a cylindrical partial circumference which is oriented towards the shaft imbalance; ii) a bearing ring which surrounds the bearing pin and bears against the cylindrical partial circumference and delimits a free space with a bearing pin back radially opposite thereto; and, iii) a clamping element which is clamped in the free space and clamps the bearing ring radially against the cylindrical partial circumference. The clamping element is intended to secure the bearing ring against axial sliding on both sides on the bearing pin, and the clamping element is connected in an axially interlocking manner to the unbalance shaft on one side and to the bearing ring on the other side.

Balance shaft assembly

A roller tappet, in particular for a high-pressure fuel pump, is provided that is guided in the direction of the longitudinal axis thereof in a housing receptacle and is driven translatably in the longitudinal direction by cams of a camshaft. The roller tappet has a tappet body. This tappet body has a tappet skirt, a pump piston contact point (), and a rotatably mounted roller (), by which the roller tappet is supported on the camshaft. The tappet body has a guide cylinder (), which is mounted in the housing receptacle and on which the roller () is supported, and a cup-shaped sleeve () having the pump piston contact point (), which cup-shaped sleeve is supported in the guide cylinder () by a radial ring (). A cylindrical constriction () is formed in the guide cylinder () in the region of the radial ring support.

Multi-part roller tappet

A roller tappet for a high-pressure fuel pump or for a valve drive of an internal combustion engine is provided. The tappet can be guided in a direction of a longitudinal axis thereof in a housing receptacle and can be driven displaceably by a cam shaft of the internal combustion engine. The tappet includes a tappet body which has a guide cylinder, and a cup-shaped sleeve supported axially and radially on the guide cylinder. The sleeve includes a bearing surface for the pump piston or a valve drive element, and the guide cylinder includes a rotatable roller mounted on support flanks, by means of which roller the roller tappet can be supported on the internal combustion engine camshaft. The sleeve has, at its end region facing away from the bearing surface, a ring-shaped shoulder for radial support and an end ring for axial support on the guide cylinder.

Assembled roller tappet

This disclosure relates to a roller tappet, in particular for a high-pressure fuel pump. The roller tappet is guided in a direction of a longitudinal axis thereof in a housing receptacle and is driven in the longitudinal direction by cams of a camshaft. The roller tappet has a tappet body. The tappet body has a tappet skirt, a pump piston contact seat, and a rotatably mounted roller, by means of which the roller tappet is supported on the camshaft. The tappet body has a guide cylinder, which is mounted in the housing receptacle and on which the roller is mounted, and a cup-shaped sleeve having the pump piston contact point, which cup-shaped sleeve is supported axially and radially in the guide cylinder.

Lightweight-construction roller tappet

A tappet is proposed, for a fuel pump or for a valve timing gear, in each case of an internal combustion engine, comprising a hollow-cylindrical housing, which includes two separate portions lying in line one after the other, which are fitted together in a region of their facing inner faces and are permanently connected to one another by way of a joint. The tappet has a roller on its driving side and an abutment for a follower part on its driven side, which abutment is formed on a separate insert. The abutment is radially supported on the housing in the fitted-together region of the two portions, wherein the insert has a middle annular collar, from which on the one hand a sleeve portion protrudes in the direction of the driving side and on the other hand a dome-like attachment protrudes towards the driven side.

Tappet

A bearing assembly for a compressor of an internal combustion engine. The bearing assembly includes an outer ring having an outer cylindrical surface with a first and a second axial section. A positioning component which has a recess with an inner circumference is provided, wherein the positioning component surrounds the outer ring in a region of the second axial section and the positioning component and the outer ring are arranged displaceably relative to one another. To provide an alternative anti-rotation element and an alternative axial stop, at least one sub-section of an inner circumference of the recess of the positioning component is non-uniformly spaced from the center point and the cross-section of the second axial section around the circumference has at least one sub-section with a radius that varies around the contour of the outer cylindrical surface (radius variation). In a first circumferential section, the distance between the contour of the outer cylindrical surface of the second axial section and the axis of rotation is greater than the distance between the contour of the inner circumference of the recess of the positioning component and the axis of rotation in a second circumferential section.

Bearing assembly for a turbocharger, comprising an anti-rotation element

A transmission element in the form of a rocker arm () or swinging arm for a reciprocating piston internal combustion engine is provided that can be actuated on one side by a cam of a camshaft and on the other side is in active connection with at least one gas exchange valve directly or via an intermediate arrangement of a valve bridge. The transmission element has a hydraulic valve lash compensation element, also called 'HVA', and the hydraulic valve lash compensation element is arranged at a force transmission end of and attached to the transmission element.

Transmission element for reciprocating piston internal combustion engines

A valve train for a reciprocating piston internal combustion engine with a transmission element in the form of a rocker arm () or pivot arm that can be actuated, on one hand, at least indirectly by a cam of a camshaft and is in active connection, on the other hand, through an intermediate connection of a valve bridge (), with gas-exchange valves ().
