The disclosure relates to a pneumatic control system for a working cylinder, which pneumatic control system enables resistance-free manual motion of the device driven by the working cylinder in the event of a failure or switch-off of the compressed air supply and is independent of electrical supply. The problem is solved by means of a pneumatic control system having a double-acting working cylinder, the two chambers of which can be connected oppositely to a compressed air source and a compressed air outlet by means of a controllable supply device having two operating positions, an independently resetting 3/2-way valve switchable by means of a control pressure being arranged before each chamber in a connecting line to the supply device, which 3/2-way valves connect the chambers to bleeding outlets in a first switching position and to the supply device in a second switching position, and a parallel circuit of a check valve and a throttle point being arranged before each chamber, the check valves of which parallel circuits block in the backflow direction, wherein the two 3/2-way valves assume the first switching position in the idle position and can be switched by means of a common control line, which is connected to both connecting lines to the supply device downstream of the 3/2-way valves by means of a changeover valve, and the parallel circuits are arranged in the connecting lines downstream of the respective 3/2-way valves.

Pneumatic control system

A pressure fluid cylinder with anti-rotation feature, includes a cylinder tube of non-circular inner cross section and a piston which is sealingly received in the tube. The piston has a circular cross section and is connected at one end to a piston rod in coaxial relationship. In order to allow selective use of the pressure fluid cylinder with or without anti-rotation feature, an annular adapter is placed between the piston and the tube and has a circular inner surface area to complement a circular outer surface area of the piston so as to allow a relative rotation between the piston and the adapter. The adapter has a non-circular outer surface area to complement the non-circular inner surface area of the tube. Through insertion of a fastener in aligned boreholes of the adapter and the piston, the adapter and the piston are prevented from rotating relative to one another.

Pressure fluid cylinder with optional anti-rotation feature

A seal for a work cylinder operated with pressure fluid, through which cylinder an axially displaceable coupling element connected with the work cylinder, particularly a pull means, is extended in a fluid-tight manner from the inside of the cylinder. To obtain a better sealing of the inside of the cylinder under all possible operating conditions, particularly when using coupling elements developed as pull means of a cross-sectional shape other than circular, the seal is comprised of a single cup-shaped piece, the bottom surface of the seal being provided with a cuff which tapers conically in axial direction towards the cup-shaped inside of the seal. The cuff is provided with a sealing opening which permits the passage of the coupling element therethrough. The seal is provided with a sealing ring on the outer periphery in the region of the open end.

Seal for a work cylinder operated by pressurized fluid

A working cylinder which operates without a piston rod, comprising a cylinder tube, a piston which is displaceable therein and is provided with a pulling means, and a force transmission element which is connected with the pulling means and guided in axial displacement on the cylinder tube. In order to minimize the mounting work for the external attachment of the pulling means and at the same time increase the dependability of operation, the pulling means (1) is provided on the ends thereof connected to the force transmission element (2) with clamping pieces (3) which are provided with a toothed surface (5) on at least one outer side (4) and the force transmission element (2) is provided with a correspondingly toothed surface (6) against which the side (4) of the corresponding clamping piece (3) having the toothed surface (5) can be pressed via a pressing element (7). The corresponding toothed surface of the force transmission element (2) is longer than the clamping pieces (3) to allow for adjustment. The pressing element (7) and the force transmission element (2) together form an integral structure.

Working cylinder without piston rod

A device is furnished for the connection of electrical contacts, in particular for solenoid valves disposed in rows, where the device includes mutually engaging contact pins. The following construction is advantageous for an arbitrarily large number of electrical users disposed in a row. Several successively disposed, fixed support bodies (2) are furnished for coaxially disposed contact pins (3). The coaxially disposed contact pins (3) can be electrically connected to each other. Rotor bodies (5) are rotatably supported between, in each case, successively disposed support bodies (2). Each rotor body (5) exhibits a contact projection (6), wherein the radial distance (7) of the contact projection (6) from the support-body center longitudinal axis (4) corresponds to the radial distance of the individual contact pins (3) from the support-body center longitudinal axis (4).

Connector module for providing electrical contacts to magnet valves

A cylinder without a piston rod comprising a cylinder, a piston for moving along the axial direction within the cylinder, and tension belt means for directing the piston witnin the cylinder. The piston comprises two piston halves which are interconnected by bayonet connection elements. A holding element is held within the piston halves for holding the ends of the tension belt means in place.

Cylinder without a piston rod

A device is disclosed for the selective clamping of an axially moveable or rotatable cylindrical shaft. The device disclosed may be either of a spring actuated-pressure release or a pressure actuated spring release embodiment. A clamping sleeve is located coaxially surrounding the cylindrical shaft to be immobilized. The clamping sleeve is separated into clamping elements at one end by longitudinal slots in the generally cylindrical sleeve. An actuating element is also arranged coaxially to the cylindrical body and the clamping sleeve and is mounted exterior to the clamping sleeve. The clamping elements are located radially inwardly from the actuating element and are separated therefrom by a series of bearings. The bearings engage the actuating element and the clamping elements through matched sets of inclined ramp elements. Each clamping element is provided with a set of bearings and ramp elements. The ramp elements are positioned such that their inclined faces are parallel to each other and each abutting the bearing. Longitudinal movement of the actuating element urges the inclined faces together, which are restrained by the bearings therebetween. The unyielding actuation element thus urges, through the bearings, the displaceable clamping elements against the surface of the cylindrical shaft.

Shaft clamping device

A compact fluid actuated working cylinder is disclosed having a cam driven by a piston via a flexible tension member. At the ends of the cylinder housing there are deflection pulleys for providing continuous tension for the tension member. The pulleys are each mounted on pulley supports which extend from secondary bores in the main cylinder housing. The pulley supports are spring loaded and urge the two pulleys away from the cylinder housing and each other. The pulley supports are preferably rectangular in cross-section to protect against torsion.
