The invention relates to a production system () for laying fiber tapes (), said production system () comprising: a laying device () having at least two roll-out devices (); an application device () having an application surface () for receiving the fiber tape (), wherein the fiber tape () can be rolled out in strips onto the application surface (); a manipulation device () for manipulating the fiber tape () applied to the application device (), wherein the manipulation device () has a receiving surface () for receiving the fiber tape (). The application surface () of the application device () is divided into at least two sub-regions () when seen over the width () of the application device (), wherein each of the sub-regions () is assigned to a roll-out device () and wherein the at least two sub-regions () of the application surface () and the respective related roll-out device () of the laying device () can be moved relative to one another in the longitudinal extension () of the application surface () independently of the further roll-out device () and the further sub-region ().
