In a method for metering and mixing different components, more particularly resin and hardener, and for delivery through a spray device ( ), with a first component standing under a preliminary pressure, a second component standing under a preliminary pressure and a solvent standing under preliminary pressure for the first component, the components flowing in through valves are detected through quantity measuring devices ( ) and supplied first to a mixer device ( ) and then to the spray device ( ). The one component is supplied in a predetermined quantity and the amount of the other component is controlled in dependence on the quantity of the one component by controlling the opening time of a shut-off valve ( ). Selectively the first or second component is controlled and the other component is supplied in a predetermined quantity.

Method and device for dosing and mixing different components

A heater for fluids has a main housing part which is provided with flow channels for a fluid to be heated. The main housing part is surrounded by an auxiliary housing part, and the housing parts cooperate to define a compartment which is capable of containing sparks, flames and explosions. The compartment communicates with the atmosphere via one or more gaps too narrow to be penetrated by sparks and flames. The compartment further communicates with a chamber which is provided in the auxiliary housing part for switching elements. A heating foil is adhesively secured to one surface of the compartment so as to lie flat against such surface.
