A description is given of a heat-sensitive recording material, comprising phenol-free organic color developers, more particularly comprising a color developer mixture comprising phenol-free organic color developers, of a heat-sensitive recording layer and also of a coating composition for producing it, of the use of the heat-sensitive recording material, of the use of an organic color developer of a formula I for improving the resistance of the printed image of a heat-sensitive recording material, and of a method for producing heat-sensitive recording material.

Heat-sensitive recording material comprising phenol-free organic colour developers

A coating composition for producing a layer composite, including a) a modified or unmodified polyvinyl alcohol, b) an alkylene/(meth)acrylic acid copolymer, c) a crosslinker, and d) one, two or more than two, pigments. The layer composite is used as food packaging, entry ticket, gaming ticket, car park ticket, or the like. A mixture of alkylene/(meth)acrylic acid copolymer and modified or unmodified polyvinyl alcohol is used in a layer of a layer composite, to the use of a coating composition for producing a layer composite.

Coating composition for producing a layer composite

A release substrate includes: a carrier substrate having a front side and a reverse side opposite the front side, and a release layer disposed on the front side and/or reverse side of the carrier substrate. The release layer includes a polymeric binder and a wax based on a vegetable oil.

Recyclable release substrate

A heat-sensitive recording material suitable for offset printing, having a web-shaped substrate, having a front side and a reverse side opposite the front side, a heat-sensitive recording layer disposed at least on one of the two sides of the web-shaped substrate having at least one dye precursor and at least one (color) developer reactive with the dye precursor. The heat-sensitive recording layer has particles including an organic surface whose extent in the direction of the thickness of web-shaped substrate and heat-sensitive recording layer is greater than the thickness of the heat-sensitive recording layer.

Heat-sensitive recording material for offset printing

A heat-sensitive recording material including a web-shaped substrate having a front side and an opposite reverse side, and at least one heat-sensitive recording layer on either or both of the sides of the web-shaped substrate. The heat-sensitive recording layer contains at least one dye precursor at least one salicylic acid derivative as a (color) developer reactive with this at least one dye precursor, and polyvinylpyrrolidone as auxiliary component augmenting the (color) developer the at least one salicylic acid derivative is 3,5-di(&#x3b1;-methylbenzyl)salicylic acid.
