An energy dissipation system for limiting forces applied to object; includes a piston rod that extends out of a pneumatic cylinder which contacts the object, the piston rod is forced from its initial position against a return spring and air is forced into an air line. The force transmitted to the object is consumed by an energy transformation device that responds to the air in the air line. &lsqb;One such energy transformation device as an air accumulator, which is coupled to the air line trough a check valve. An orifice or release valve, releases air up a predetermined flow rate so that the linear motion of the protected object is transformed into work, which is dissipated.&rsqb; &lsqb;Another&rsqb; The energy transformation device consists of an air-driven motor coupled to a heavy flywheel &lsqb;through&rsqb; that is driven by the motor. &lsqb;A third alternative energy transformation device consist of a second dissipation cylinder and piston, where the dissipation cylinder is coupled to the air line so that the air in line, drives the pistons against a return spring that orifice or release valve, may also be coupled to the airline on to the dissipation cylinder.&rsqb;

A revolver-lock device including a positive means, for locking of the bullet cylinder, a lock-housing for containing lock mechanism components, an extension rod, an inner permanent magnet, an extension spring, a multiple number of balls or similar members, a housing sealing disc, an external magnet key with slot, means for preventing retraction of the locking expansion balls from the cylinder walls, for preventing insertion of bullets into the cylinder holes, and for preventing the cylinder from rotating, and thus operation of the trigger, hammer and firing pin, means for restricting the bullet firing caps to be off-line with the firing pin, means for preventing the revolver cylinder from being opened for loading, a method for high volume, low cost production due to simplicity of design, a quick activating/deactivating means for fast use of the revolver, a compact size and shape which allows easy casing of the revolver, a parts interchanging feature for similar revolvers of the same caliber and for different caliber revolvers. An overall design concept which is used to produce a family of similar revolver-locks for a majority of revolver with minimal redesign, for use in home, military, federal, state and city agencies.

Revolver cylinder magnetic gunlock

A spring element is made of a spring material and is formed into a generally elliptical shape. Two mounting pins extend in a normal direction through parallel relatively short segments of said elliptically-shaped spring element. The mounting pins are substantially aligned with the shorter of the two axis of the elliptically-shaped spring element so as to extend both inwardly and outwardly of said elliptically-shaped spring element. An elastomeric coating is applied around substantially all of the spring elements and a pair of blocks, each of which surrounds one of the mounting pins receives one of the mounting pins. A number of spring elements are joined together by two parallel, spaced-apart coupling links which contain cavities therein to receive one of the blocks of each of the spring elements.
