An accessory for a power tool includes a blade and a coupling. The coupling includes a blade portion, a tool portion, and a transition. The blade portion is fixedly coupled to the blade. The tool portion is configured to be removably coupled to the power tool. The tool portion also includes an opening. The transition extends between the blade portion and the tool portion, and the transition includes a first transition region, where the transition intersects with the blade portion, and a second transition region, where the transition intersects with the tool portion. The first transition region includes a first arc having a center that is arranged between the first arc and the opening, and the second transition region includes a second arc having a center that is arranged between the second arc and the opening.

Dual axis hook assembly for a power tool

A power tool includes a working element, a motor, a motor actuator, a housing, a light emitting element, a locking element, and a switch element positioned between the housing and the locking element. The housing supports the motor, the motor actuator, and the light emitting element and movably supports the locking element. The light emitting element illuminates a work area around the working element, and the motor drives the working element when actuated by the motor actuator. The locking element enables operation of the motor actuator when in an unlocked position and prevents operation of the motor actuator when in a locked position. When in the unlocked position, the locking element operates the switch element to activate the light emitting element.

A power tool includes a housing and a hook assembly. The hook assembly includes a hook support and a hook member. The hook support is rotatably attached to the housing for rotation about a first axis. The hook member has a shank portion and a hook portion. The shank portion defines a second axis that is transverse to the first axis and is configured to rotate with respect to the hook support about the second axis. The hook portion extends in a radial direction from the shank portion. The rotation of the hook support about the first axis alters an orientation of the shank portion of the hook member with respect to the housing, and the rotation of the shank portion with respect hook support alters the radial direction of the hook portion.

Illuminated power tools with switch locking arrangement

A hand truck assembly includes a frame including an upper portion and a lower portion. The assembly further includes a handle attached to the upper portion of the frame. The assembly also includes a pair of wheels attached to the lower portion of the frame. In addition, the assembly includes a fixed work support member attached in fixed relation to the lower portion of the frame. The assembly further includes a movable work support member attached to the lower portion of the frame, the movable work support member being moveable between (i) a first position in which a free end portion of the movable work support member rests on the fixed work support member, and (ii) a second position in which the free end portion of the movable work support member is spaced apart from the fixed work support member. The assembly also includes a post attached in fixed relation to the free end portion of the movable work support member. The assembly additionally includes a power tool such as a hammer jack that defines a cavity. When the movable work support member is positioned in the first position, (i) the post is located within the cavity of the power tool, and (ii) the power tool is supported on the movable work support member.
