The present invention relates to a use of benzimidazole derivative compounds for improvement and treatment of nocturnal acid breakthrough (NAB). The benzimidazole derivative compounds can more effectively prevent and treat gastric acid-related diseases by effectively improving and treating nocturnal nocturnal acid breakthrough symptoms.

The present invention relates to use of a compound of the present invention or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, or a pharmaceutical composition comprising the compound or the salt, for the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of cachexia.
