A railcar includes: a power collector configured to collect electric power through overhead contact lines; a circuit breaking unit connected to the power collector and arranged on a roof of a car; and a plurality of electric power cables connected to the circuit breaking unit. The circuit breaking unit includes: a circuit breaker arranged above the roof and connected to a circuit connected to the power collector; and a branch joint which is integrally connected to a terminal portion of the circuit breaker and arranged under the circuit breaker and to which the plurality of electric power cables are connected.

The present invention is a high voltage device system mounted on a railcar and includes a plurality of high voltage devices to which high-voltage electric power from an overhead contact line is supplied, a plurality of high-voltage cables configured to connect the high voltage devices with each other, and a joint device to which the high-voltage cables are connected. The high-voltage cables respectively include cable connector portions at tip end portions thereof, and each of the cable connector portions includes a base tubular portion configured to cover the high-voltage cable and a fit tubular portion extending from the base tubular portion in a direction substantially perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the high-voltage cable. The joint device includes joint connector portions, each of which is fitted to the fit tubular portion of the cable connector portion to be connected to the high-voltage cable.

High voltage device system of railcar and railcar

A metal fitting integration type stress-relief cone is provided with a stress-relief cone which includes a cylindrical rubber-like elastic body on an outer circumference of a cable core and a metal fitting which surrounds the cable core and is integral with a low-voltage side of the stress-relief cone. The stress-relief cone is provided with a cylindrical semi-conducting body part at the low-voltage side and has a bell-mouthed electric-field stress-control part in an end of a high-voltage side, an insulating body part on the high-voltage side with a low-voltage side end concentric with the semi-conducting body part and a cylindrical insulation protective layer which is arranged continuously at the end of the low-voltage side of the insulating body part and is integral with the outer circumference of the semi-conducting body part.

Metal fitting integration type stress-relief cone and a cable sealing end using the same

A polymer bushing includes a conductor bar, a conductor insertion hole at a lower end, a rigid insulator around the outer circumference of the conductor bar and having a receiving port for a cable termination, a polymer covering around the outer circumference of the insulator and a number of shadesformed separately along the longer dimension at the outer circumference. A large diameter part is provided above the conductor insertion hole which is in the vicinity of the lower end part of the insulator. A cylindrical shielding metal fitting is concentrically embedded together with the conductor bar in the large diameter part. An electric-field stress-control layer is provided at the interface between the large diameter part and the polymer covering.

Polymer bushing and cable termination using the same

It is intended to achieve the weight reduction, sliming, and downsizing of bushings, compatibility of types of bushings, and simplification of operating steps. A polymer bushing comprises a conductor draw-out bar () having a conductor insertion hole () in the lower end, a hard insulation sleeve () installed around the outer periphery of the conductor draw-out bar (), a polymer clad body () installed around the outer periphery of the insulation sleeve (), and an electric field stress-control layer installed on the interface between the insulation sleeve () and the polymer clad body (). The insulation sleeve () comprises a large-diameter insulation sleeve () installed around the outer periphery of the lower region of the conductor draw-out bar (), and a small-diameter insulation sleeve () installed around the outer periphery of a portion of the conductor draw-out bar () excluding the front end. An embedment metal part () for electric field mitigation purposes is embedded in a portion of connection between the large-and small-diameter insulation sleeves (). Further, installed at the lower end of the large-diameter insulation sleeve () is a cone-shaped receiving port () for receiving the stress cone () of a cable terminal (), the receiving port () communicating with the conductor insertion hole () in the conductor draw-out bar ().
