A fuel injection control device includes a valve closing detection unit () to detect a valve closing timing by using either of an electromotive force quantity detection mode and a timing detection mode, a selection unit () to select either of the electromotive force quantity detection mode and the timing detection mode for detecting the valve closing timing, and a correction unit () to calculate a correction coefficient for correcting a requested injection quantity so as to reduce the difference between an estimated injection quantity and the requested injection quantity, and the selection unit selects the electromotive force quantity detection mode regardless of the value of the requested injection quantity when the calculation of the correction coefficient is not completed.

Fuel injection control device

A fuel injection control device has a conduction time calculation unit, a setting unit, a conduction control unit, a detection unit, an estimation unit, and a changing unit. The conduction time calculation unit calculates a conduction time of an electric actuator corresponding to a requested injection quantity during partial lift injection. The setting unit sets a command conduction time. The conduction control unit energizes an electric actuator on the basis of a command conduction time set by the setting unit. The detection unit detects a physical quantity having a correlation with an actual injection quantity during partial lift injection. The estimation unit estimates an actual injection quantity on the basis of a detection result of the detection unit. The changing unit changes a lower limit time on the basis of a deviation between an estimated actual injection quantity and a requested injection quantity.

A fuel injection control device includes a conduction time calculation unit, a detection unit, an estimation unit, a correction unit, a sudden change determination unit, and a reflection speed setting unit. The detection unit detects a physical quantity having a correlation with an actual injection quantity during the partial lift injection. The estimation unit estimates the actual injection quantity on the basis of a detection result of the detection unit. The correction unit corrects the requested injection quantity by a correction quantity corresponding to a deviation between the actual injection quantity and the requested injection quantity. The sudden change determination unit determines whether or not the correction quantity is in a sudden change state on the basis of whether or not the correction quantity has changed from a previous value by a prescribed quantity or more. The reflection speed setting unit sets the reflection speed.

A fuel injection control device includes a valve closing detection unit to detect a valve closing timing by using either of an electromotive force quantity detection mode and an timing detection mode and a selection unit to select either of the electromotive force quantity detection mode and the timing detection mode for detecting the valve closing timing, and the selection unit: selects the timing detection mode when a requested injection quantity is larger than a prescribed reference injection quantity in partial lift injection; and selects the electromotive force quantity detection mode when the requested injection quantity is smaller than the reference injection quantity.

A fuel injection control device includes an electric controller controlling an opening and closing of an injector by energizing a coil in the injector, and a booster circuit boosting a battery voltage to generate a boost voltage. The electric controller includes a valve-opening control unit applying the boost voltage and then applying the battery voltage to the coil to execute a valve-opening control to generate a required valve-opening force, an open valve maintenance control unit applying the battery voltage to the coil to execute an open valve maintenance control to generate an open valve maintenance force and is smaller the required valve-opening force, after the valve-opening control, and a current correction control unit executing a current correction control to correct a maximum value of a current flowing through the coil when the boost voltage is applied in the valve-opening control, according to a decreasing quantity of the battery voltage.

Fuel injection control device and fuel injection system

A fuel injection control device includes a correction unit to calculate a correction coefficient for correcting a valve closing timing detected by an electromotive force quantity detection mode by using a valve closing timing detected by a timing detection mode. An estimation unit estimates an estimated injection quantity by using a valve closing timing after corrected by using a correction coefficient when the electromotive force quantity detection mode is selected by a selection unit and a valve closing timing is detected by the electromotive force quantity detection mode.

A fuel injection control device has a detection unit, a correction value calculation unit, and a conduction time calculation unit. The detection unit detects a current increase speed that is a speed of increasing an electric current flowing in an electromagnetic coil in accordance with the start of conducting the electromagnetic coil during partial lift injection in which a valve body starts valve closing operation before the valve body reaches a maximum valve opening position after the valve body starts valve opening operation. The correction value calculation unit calculates a correction value for a requested injection quantity on the basis of the detected current increase speed. The conduction time calculation unit calculates a conduction time of the electromagnetic coil during the partial lift injection on the basis of the requested injection quantity corrected by the correction value.

An ECU includes an injection controller that performs a partial lift injection in which a fuel injection valve is drivingly opened by an injection pulse by which a lift amount of a valve body of the fuel injection valve does not reach a full lift position, a first calculation section that calculates a first parameter correlated with an amount of induced electromotive force generated by a magnetic flux change during movement of the valve body to a closed position after OFF of the injection pulse of the partial lift injection, a second calculation section that calculates, based on a time-series change of the induced electromotive force after OFF of the injection pulse of the partial lift injection, a second parameter correlated with a voltage inflection point generated with reaching of the valve body to the closed position, and a correction section that corrects a time length of the injection pulse based on the first parameter and the second parameter.

Fuel injection control device for internal combustion engine

At least after off of an injection pulse of partial lift injection, a first filtered voltage Vsm1 being a negative terminal voltage Vm of a fuel injection valve filtered by a first low-pass filter having a first frequency f1 as a cutoff frequency, the first frequency f1 being lower than a frequency of a noise component, is acquired, and a second filtered voltage Vsm2 being the negative terminal voltage Vm filtered by a second low-pass filter having a second frequency f2 as a cutoff frequency, the second frequency f2 being lower than the first frequency f1, is acquired. Time from a predetermined reference timing to a timing when a difference Vdiff (=Vsm1&#x2212;Vsm2) between the filtered voltages has an inflection point is calculated as voltage inflection time Tdiff, and the injection pulse of the partial lift injection is corrected based on the voltage inflection time Tdiff.

Fuel injection control system of internal combustion engine

At least after off of an injection pulse of partial lift injection, a difference between a first filtered voltage being a negative terminal voltage of a fuel injection valve filtered by a first low-pass filter and a second filtered voltage being the terminal voltage filtered by a second low-pass filter is calculated, and time from a predetermined reference timing to a timing when the difference between the filtered voltages has an inflection point is calculated as voltage inflection time. Subsequently, an injection quantity corresponding to current voltage inflection time is estimated for each of injection pulse widths with a relationship between the voltage inflection time and the injection quantity, the relationship being beforehand stored for each of the injection pulse widths. A map defining the relationship between the injection pulse width and the injection quantity is created based on a result of such estimation, and a required injection pulse width corresponding to a required injection quantity is calculated using the map.

A fuel supply device () has a valve () in a fuel passage between a fuel pump () and an engine (). In a storage portion of an ECU (-) is stored a relationship between a fuel pressure and a flow rate, which are required by the engine, and voltage which is supplied to a motor (). The ECU senses voltages V, V, Vsupplied to the motor from a controller () when the valve is opened from change points C', C&#x2032;, C&#x2032; at which a characteristic between the voltage and the current which are supplied to the motor () is changed. Then, the ECU corrects the voltage stored in the storage portion on the basis of differences between voltages V, V, Vstored in the storage portion at the change points C, C, Cand the voltages V, V, Vwhen the valve is opened. In this way, the fuel supply device can correctly control the motor in correspondence to the fuel pressure and the flow rate which are required by the engine.

Fuel supply device

A control system of an internal combustion engine provided with a first fuel injection valve that injects fuel into a cylinder of the internal combustion engine, a second fuel injection valve that injects fuel into an intake port of the internal combustion engine, an EGR passage that introduces an EGR gas from an exhaust passage of the internal combustion engine to an intake passage thereof, an EGR valve that is arranged in the EGR passage, and an obtaining unit that obtains an amount of intake air in the internal combustion engine. When the EGR valve is open, a determination is made as to whether the amount of intake air is in an increasing tendency or in a decreasing tendency with respect to a change in the cylinder injection ratio, and a value of the amount of intake air thus obtained is corrected based on the determination.

Control system of an internal combustion engine

During a shut-down period of an engine based on an idle stop control, a computer estimates a power stroke cylinder and a compression stroke cylinder when the engine is stopped. A fuel is injected into the power stroke cylinder and the compression stroke cylinder in an intake stroke just before the engine is stopped. An air-fuel mixture is hold in each cylinder with the engine stopped. When an auto start is required while the engine is stopped, a spark ignition is performed in the power stroke cylinder to start cranking of the engine by combustion energy. At nest ignition timing, a spark ignition is performed in the compression stroke cylinder to start the engine without an aid of a starter.
