A connector includes: a housing; and a cover. The housing includes a lock body that is lockable to a counterpart lock body so that fitting connection with the counterpart housing is not canceled, and a lock cancellation arm that deforms with application of lock cancellation force to a point-of-effort part and cancels a state in which the lock body is lockable to the counterpart lock body. The cover includes a second wall that covers the housing up to the position of the point-of-effort part in the fitting connection direction, an exposure part formed at the wall to expose the point-of-effort part, and a lock cancellation operation body that includes an operation part capable of receiving a press movement operation, blocks the exposure part to an extent that deformation along with the press movement operation is possible, and applies the lock cancellation force to the point-of-effort part through the deformation.

Connector

An electrical connector includes a tubular housing having a partition wall extending in a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the tubular housing and a bus bar embedded in the partition wall of the housing in a state of penetrating the partition wall in the longitudinal direction. The partition wall is located at a substantially center in the longitudinal direction. A through hole is formed at a position of the bus bar at which the bus bar is embedded in the partition wall. A part of the partition wall is filled in the through hole. A range of the partition wall away from the position at which the bus bar is embedded in the partition wall has a thinned part.

Electrical connector

A connector includes a first housing housing a plurality of first terminals, a second housing being fittable to the first housing and housing a plurality of second terminals connectable to the respective first terminals, a short-circuiting terminal housed in the first housing and having contact pieces contacting the respective first terminals which are adjacent to each other, and a release portion provided on the second housing and displacing the contact pieces to release contact between the first terminals and the contact pieces. The second housing is deflectably provided with a lock arm on an outer peripheral surface of the second housing, the lock arm holding a state in which the first housing and the second housing are fit together. The release portion is arranged on the outer peripheral surface of the second housing forward of the lock arm in a fitting direction of the first housing and the second housing.

Electrical connector having a short-circuiting terminal

A connector includes a first housing accommodating first terminals, a second housing accommodating second terminals connectable to the first terminals and fittable to the first housing, short-circuit terminals accommodated in the first housing and each having a pair of contact pieces that respectively come in contact with corresponding first terminals adjacent to each other, releasing parts provided in the second housing and configured so as to displace the contact pieces, thereby releasing contacts between the first terminals and the contact pieces, tin plating films formed on respective contact surfaces of the first terminals and the contact pieces coming into contact with each other, and sliding parts provided in the second housing and positioned ahead of the releasing parts in a fitting direction between the first housing and the second housing to displace the contact pieces thereby allowing the contact pieces to slide on the first terminals.

An engagement member mounted to a first housing with a fitting detection member located at a complete engagement position is located at a correct position with a terminal correctly housed in the first housing and is located at an incorrect position with the terminal incorrectly housed in the first housing. The engagement member located at the correct position does not interfere with the fitting detection member and allows a movement of the fitting detection member from the complete engagement position to a temporary engagement position. The engagement member located at the incorrect position interferes with the fitting detection member and prevents the movement of the fitting detection member from the complete engagement position to the temporary engagement position.

Connector with fitting detection member

A connector includes a first housing, a second housing, a short-circuiting terminal, and a release portion configured to release contact between the first terminals and the contact pieces. The contact piece includes a contact portion provided to be in contact with the first terminal, and a sliding protrusion protruding from the contact portion in a direction intersecting a fitting direction of the housings. The release portion includes a sliding slope sliding on the sliding protrusion to displace the contact piece, a support portion continuously provided with the sliding slope, the support portion coming into contact with the sliding protrusion and holding the contact piece is displaced in a state, and a contact housing portion arranged from the sliding slope and the support portion in a direction crossing a fitting direction of the first housing and the second housing, the contact housing portion housing the contact portion the fitted state.

A second locked part engaged with a second locking part releases a contact between detection protrustion and the second locking part located at a temporary engagement position at which the contact between the detection protrusion and the second locking part prevents a movement of a fitting detection member in a first direction and allows the fitting detection member to move in the first direction. A deflection regulator of the fitting detection member located at a complete engagement position at which a first locked part is engaged with a first locking part regulates a deflection amount of a fitting lock arm within a range in which an engagement between the second locking part and the second locked part is unreleasable while an engagement between the first locking part and the first locked part is releasable.

A connector includes a first connector constituent including a first terminal and a locking portion; a second connector constituent including a second terminal and a locked portion, and configured so that the second terminal is joined to the first terminal when the second connector constituent is installed in the first connector constituent; and a third connector constituent including a locked-portion holding portion configured to keep the locked portion locked to the locking portion when the third connector constituent is installed over the second connector constituent installed in the first connector constituent.

An engagement member mounted to a first housing allows a movement of a fitting detection member from a complete engagement position to a temporary engagement position without interfering with the fitting detection member and prevents a movement of the fitting detection member in a second direction from the temporary engagement position by interfering with the fitting detection member.

A connector includes a first housing having a first fitting part, a second housing having a second fitting part configured so as to be fittable to the first fitting part, a fitting detection member assembled to an outer circumference of the second housing so as to be movable between a temporary locking position and a primary locking position, an engaged part provided on the second fitting part, and an engaging part which is provided on the fitting detection member so as to be abuttable on the first fitting part and also engaged to the engaged part to hold the fitting detection member at the temporary locking position and the primary locking position to the second housing. The second fitting part and the engaging part are accommodated in the first fitting part.

A lever-type connector includes a first and second connector housing, and a lever rotatably provided on the first connector housing and which can fit or separate the first and second connector housing by a rotating operation. A flexible lock arm is provided on the first connector housing. A free end side of the lock arm includes a locking part whose rear end side is capable of locking so as to be hooked to the rear end part of a locking protrusion of the lever, and a release operation part capable of releasing a locking state of the rear end part of the locking protrusion and the rear end side of the locking part. The locking part and the release operation part are provided adjacent to each other. The release operation part is positioned below the lever at a time of locking between the locking part and the locking protrusion.

Lever-type connector

A connector includes a female housing, an engagement detection member, and a cover member. The female housing is provided with a terminal connected to a counterpart terminal of a counterpart connector and is capable of being engaged with the counterpart connector. The engagement detection member is assembled with the female housing in a movable manner from an initial position to an engagement assurance position in a state where the counterpart connector and the female housing are completely engaged with each other. The cover member is assembled with the engagement detection member through a locking unit locked with the engagement detection member. The locking unit is provided inside an outer shape line of the engagement detection member when viewed in a direction of relative movement between the female housing and the engagement detection member.

A connector includes a first housing including a first lock part, a second housing including a second lock part that can be locked to the first lock part, and a fitting detection member that can move from an initial position to a fitting assured position with the second lock part locked to the first lock part and includes a third lock part that can ride over the first lock part and the second lock part in succession along with the movement from the initial position to the fitting assured position to be locked to the second lock part at the fitting assured position. The first lock part includes a drawing slope surface inclining from a protruding tip toward a first lock face and a protrusion protruding from the drawing slope surface. The second lock part includes a notch that can house the protrusion.

In a lever-type connector () including a temporary lever lock mechanism () that temporarily locks in an initial rotation position a fitting operation lever () rotatably provided in a lever accommodation space () defined in an inner side of one outer side wall of a first connector housing () and a temporary lock release mechanism () that releases the temporary locked state of the fitting operation lever () when the first connector housing () is butted on a second connector housing () in a fitting start position, the fitting operation lever () is provided with a mark () that is exposed outside the first connector housing () when the temporary locked state is released.

A connector includes a connector housing including a locking mechanism which locks a mating housing and formed to be fitted to the mating housing, and a connector terminal held by the connector housing to come into contact with a mating terminal held by the mating housing. The connector housing is designed to have a locking position of the connector housing with the mating housing by the locking mechanism and a contact position of the connector terminal with the mating terminal, and the locking position and the contact position coincide with or come close to each other in a fitting direction relative to the mating housing.
