This coin processor includes a sorting portion sorting coins, a coin container containing coins, a first coin outlet employed at least for discharging coins for refund payment, a second coin outlet employed at least for discharging coins for change, and a control portion discharging coins of a prescribed type reaching at least a prescribed number substantially filling up the coin container from the coin container to one of the first coin outlet and the second coin outlet when the number of coins of the prescribed type contained in the coin container reaches at least the prescribed number.

Coin processing apparatus

A coin processing apparatus includes: a slit provided on a downstream-side conveyance path or at an entry of the downstream-side conveyance path in a coin drawing section for a storage to pass a coin having a coin diameter equal to or less than a diameter of a target type of coin to be drawn; a coin bias mechanism configured to bias a conveyed coin; an outer diameter sensor configured to detect whether a coin passing through the downstream-side conveyance path has an outer diameter of a target type of coin to be drawn; a material sensor configured to detect material of a coin passing through the downstream-side conveyance path; and a hole sensor that detects presence or absence of a hole of a coin passing through the downstream-side conveyance path.

A coin identification device includes: a first magnetic sensor detecting an amount of magnetic variation while the coin passes in the carrying direction; a second magnetic sensor installed where the second magnetic sensor detects a passage of an arc of a small-diameter coin when the first magnetic sensor detects a passage of the small-diameter coin; and a third magnetic sensor installed where the third magnetic sensor does not detect a passage of an arc of the small-diameter coin when the first magnetic sensor and the second magnetic sensor detect a passage of the small-diameter coin and detects a passage of an arc of a large-diameter coin; and an identification control unit identifying an outer diameter of the small-diameter coin and the large-diameter coin based on the amount of magnetic variation of the first magnetic sensor.

Coin identification device

A money processing device includes: an operation unit including a money input port through which money is input and a money output port through which money is discharged; a money processing unit provided on a rear side of the operation unit, and configured to: take in money input through the money input port so as to sort the input money and store the sorted money in a storage space; and convey money corresponding to change from the storage space to the operation unit so as to output the corresponding money through the money output port when a money output instruction is given; and a replenishing and collecting unit provided on a rear side of the money processing unit, and configured to: replenish money of the money processing unit; and collect the money stored in the storage space into a collection space when a collection command is given.

Money processing device

A bill-processing machine is controlled to determine an amount of housed bills as required. A number of types of the bills mixed with a dummy bill for close inspection are housed in a single bill housing and the bills in the bill housing are circulated during output and close inspection. When a close inspection instruction is issued, the dummy bill is detected while the bills in the bill housing are being circulated. During the close inspection from the detection of the dummy bill until the dummy bill is detected again, the bills in the bill housing are sequentially delivered and subjected to output-money identification. The count in a bill counter for the corresponding money type in a close inspection counter is increased depending on the determined money type in order to determine the amount of the bills housed in the bill housing. Since the single circulatory bill housing is used, the size of the machine can be reduced.

Method for controlling bill-processing machine

In a method of the invention, a balance in a bill processing machine can be easily inspected and identified. At first, an input bill identification section of the bill processing machine identifies whether an imitation bill created for inspection is being input. If the imitation bill is detected, inspection counters for bill types are cleared, and sequentially, bills loaded and stored in a bill storage is circulated via a circulating path in the bill processing machine. The bills delivered from the bill storage in the circulation operation are identified, and a number of bills according to the bill types is counted at inspection counters. When the imitation bill sent to the bill storage is identified by an output-bill identification section in the circulation operation, the circulating operation is stopped, and the imitation bill is discharged from the bill processing machine.
