Image data of various kinds of components and component text data required for mounting of components, e.g., shapes, dimensions, packing forms, colors, and the like of the components, are stored in a storage medium in a manner to be read out as part of a component electronic catalog. The storage medium is used to make a search for components on a screen and automatically read out necessary component text data. The component electronic catalog can be used not only to search for components on a screen, similar to a conventional component electronic catalog, but to automatically read out component text data so as to automatically form mounting data for components to be mounted which are selected through the screen search.

Component electronic catalog

Image data of various kinds of components and component text data required for mounting of components, e.g., shapes, dimensions, packing forms, colors, and the like of the components are stored in a storage medium in a manner to be read out as part of a component electrical catalog. The storage medium is used to make a search for components on a screen and automatically read out necessary component text data. The component electronic catalog can be used not only to search for components on a screen, similar to a conventional component electronic catalog, but to automatically read out component text data so as to automatically form mounting data for components to be mounted which are selected through the screen search.

A vibration applying apparatus associated with an injection molding machine for applying vibrational repetitive movements to a melt of molding materials includes a rod having a tip end received inside a heating cylinder and disposed in the proximity of a nozzle of the heating cylinder, a stationary guide supporting the rod such that the rod is movable back and forth, a rotating shaft being orthogonal to the rod, a drive motor for rotating the rotating shaft, and a cam mechanism acting between the rotating shaft and the rod so as to convert rotary motion of the rotating shaft into linear reciprocal motion of the rod. With the apparatus thus arranged, the tip end of the reciprocating rod applies vibrational repetitive movements to the melt of molding material, thereby lower the viscosity of melt. The frequency of vibrational repetitive movements can be varied by changing the rotational speed of the drive motor.

Vibration applying apparatus for an injection molding machine

A method for controlling a screw injecting apparatus having a heating cylinder and a screw slidably and rotatably received in the heating cylinder and designed to carry out a plasticizing-metering phase in which a predetermined amount of a molten material is accumulated forwardly of the screw by plasticizing and kneading a raw molding material via the screw and the heating cylinder, a waiting phase in which the screw is held inactive for a period between completion of the metering and subsequent injection of the molten material, and an injecting phase in which the molten material is injected. The method comprises the step of causing the apparatus to vibrate the molten material at a predetermined low frequency axially of the screw during the plasticizing-metering phase. By vibrating the molten material at a low frequency during the relatively long plasticizing-metering phase, the viscosity of the molten material can be reduced. Further, since vibrations are generated axially of the screw, sufficient vibrations can be applied to the tip of the molten material.

A pre-plasticizing type injection molding machine includes a plasticizing device for plasticizing a molding material supplied from a hopper by a first screw disposed within a first barrel, an injection device 8 for measuring a molten resin supplied from the plasticizing device 5 and for injecting the measured molten resin by a second screw disposed within a second barrel. A switching valve is provided in a resin passage between a resin outlet of the plasticizing device and a resin inlet of the injection device, and an accumulation device is provided for housing a pushing plunger having a stock chamber communicated with the resin passage at a position between the switching valve 10 and the resin outlet of the plasticizing device. The injection molding machine further includes a control portion for driving the first screw for continuous rotation during the molding step, closing the switching valve and shifting the second screw forward during an injection step, and opening the switching valve, driving the second screw for rotation and driving the pushing plunger forward during a measuring step. Thus, by continuous operation of the plasticizing device, the performance of the plasticizing device can be maximized. In conjunction therewith, the degree of mixing and uniformity of a composite resin can be enhanced.

Pre-plasticizing type injection molding machine and control method

A method of operation for an injection molding machine is disclosed. The injection molding machine includes an injector having an advancable screw and a barrel cylinder, and a mold clamp for holding a mold with a controllable pressure and for allowing the mold to open a controllable amount. In performing the method, preset values are established for a stop position of the advancable screw, a clamping pressure of the mold clamp, and an opening amount for the mold. The screw is advanced up to the preset stop position and stopped thereat. The screw is controlled so as to ensure the location of the screw at the preset stop position for a preset time. Resin is injected from the barrel cylinder into the mold. The mold is clamped with the preset clamping pressure, during the preset time, by operating the mold clamp while maintaining the positioning of the screw at the preset stop position. Further, the mold clamp is operated to controllably allow for opening of the mold during the injecting step, so that the mold is allowed to open to the preset opening amount when the injecting step is completed.

Molding method of injection molding machine

A disk nearly constant in recording density from the outer circumference to the inner circumference of the disk, such as CLV and M-CAV format, is rotated at a constant angular velocity to read out information, and the information being read in at a varying read transfer speed depending on the position on the disk from the optical pickup is stored once in a buffer memory. The information stored in the buffer memory is sent out at a constant send transfer speed. When reproducing from a disk-shaped recording medium nearly constant in recording density in the inner and outer circumference, the disk information is read at a constant rotating angular velocity, and the information varying in read transfer speed depending on the disk position is outputted at a constant send transfer speed suited to the reproduction of information such as voice and picture. The host computer or the like for controlling the apparatus is not required to distinguish the type of medium or recording format, or perform processing such as control of the transfer speed. Furthermore, when outputting the stored information, means for setting the send transfer speed by an external device or switch inside the apparatus is provided. By this means, the information can be reproduced at a transfer speed suited to the content of the information being handled.

Disk information reading control apparatus having a variable read

When molding is carried out by injecting and charging a measured resin into a mold by a pushing-out member, a measured value of a stroke length of the pushing-out member is calculated and set in advance when the pushing-out member is advanced up to the maximum forward position. The stroke of the pushing-out member is measured from the maximum forward position based on the measured value at a time of a measuring. The pushing-out member is advanced from a measuring completion position to the maximum forward position and then the injecting is carried out. Accordingly, a pressure retaining process becomes unnecessary for reserving a cushion amount and controlling a pressure, and also the resin is charged into the mold based on an always constant molten time. Therefore, a molding product can be made uniform.

Injection molding method of an injection molding machine

A method and an apparatus for injection-molding a molten resin wherein any flaw such as warpage, shrinkage or the like does not occur in products having a small thickness when the desired product of injection molded resin is molded by injecting the molten resin into a cavity of an injection molding die. The molten resin is injected into the cavity under proper control with respect to injection speed and pressure, the pressure of the molten resin being temporarily set and reduced to a preset reference value when the cavity is filled with the molten resin, and subsequently, the pressure of the molten resin filled in the cavity is released.

The speed control unit for open loop control of the speed of an actuator 2 of an injection cylinder according to setpoint Vs of speed. The speed control unit includes a measurement sensing unit 3 to detect speed measurement Vd and pressure measurement Pd from the run of the actuator 2. An hydraulic control circuit for an injection molding machine feedback-controls the operations of an injection cylinder by connecting an hydraulic source and an oil tank to a hydraulic actuator through a plurality of servo valves. The plurality of servo valves, such as four-port servo valves, are connected in parallel and a servo valve control function unit is used which controls the servo valves preferentially to the feedback control to permit series or parallel control of the servo valves. Thus, even when the specifications of an injection molding machine require a larger size and higher speed, the size of the injection molding machine is prevented from increasing, the cost is decreased, the response speed and the stability are remarkably improved, and fine control is realized over a wide control range.
