The liquid substance advancing container is constructed such that the piston is formed of a sealing part in a front part of the piston that comes in sliding contact with an inner wall of a reservoir of the barrel body and a bar member in the rear part of the piston that has a threaded section on the inner or outer periphery, is movable in a axial direction and is restrained form moving with respect to the rotational direction, a front bar-like part extended forward from the handle is formed with a threaded section that is directly or indirectly screw-fitted to the threaded section of the bar member in the rear part of the piston, and, as the handle is rotated relative to the barrel body, the piston advances and then after full advance of the piston the front bar-like part can extend and retract by multiple stages.

Liquid substance advancing container

To provide an applicator with an application body that is nonabsorbent and can uniformly spread and apply an application liquid over the surface to be applied on without scraping the applied liquid during application. The application body includes a membranous part that is easily deformable in applying liquid, and a cavity part enclosed by the membranous part, and constructed such that when the applying surface of the membranous part comes into contact with the surface to be applied on, the contact surface of the membranous part fits closely following the surface to be applied on by the pressure of the membranous part acting onto the contact surface of the surface to be applied on.

Applicator

A high internal water phase water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic in which, in a system formed of an oil phase including silicone elastomer, polydimethylsiloxane and polyether modified silicone and a water phase including water in an amount of 60% or greater by mass. The water phase, at least, including one nonionic surfactant having an HLB value of 14 or greater, selected from a group consisting of polyoxyalkylene alkyl ethers, polyglycerin fatty acid esters, polyoxyalkylene glycerin fatty acid esters and polyalkyleneglycol fatty acid esters, in an amount of 0.03 to 0.6% by mass, is blended with pigments including an organic pigment, in an amount of 0.05 to 8% by mass. The viscosity at the shear rate of 3.83 secat 25&#xb0; C. is 1 to 100 Pa&#xb7;sec, as well as an applicator with an applying part having a surface roughness Ra of 3 to 300 &#x3bc;m to store the cosmetic.

High internal water phase water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic and cosmetic liquid applicator

In the cosmetic storage type applicator having a structure for supplying a cosmetic to an applying part from the interior of a barrel cylinder, a cap removably attached to the front part of the barrel cylinder for covering the applying part and plastic mouthpiece is provided; an inner sleeve having a tapered inside diameter toward the front end is arranged inside the body of cap and integrally formed with the cap body; and the inner peripheral surfaces and from the inner sleeve to the cap body are formed with a smooth surface without any step.

Liquid applicator

A liquid applicator has a vaned collector. The collector's rear end is abutted on a partition having a concave portion, creating a gap B therebetween. A cylindrical projection is formed inside the rear sleeve concentrically on its axis so that a replaceable cartridge holding ink is removably attached with its front end fitted to the cylindrical projection. A trunk core's rear end is inserted into a communication passage that is formed in the cylindrical projection with a gap A formed between the trunk core surface and the wall surface of the communication passage. This gap A is put in communication with an ink slit of the collector via gap B. Grooves are formed in the convex portion while a number of ribs are formed apart with respect to a barrel's circumference on inner peripheral surface of the communication passage of the cylindrical projection. These ribs stably support the rear end of the trunk core. Gap A between the rear end of the trunk core and the inner peripheral surface of the communication passage of the cylindrical projection should fall within the following range: 0.02 mm&lE;A&lE;0.25 mm, and the ink should be of a water-based ink having a viscosity of 12 mPa.s or below at 25&deg; C. Gap A, gap B, slit width C and spacing D are specified so that A&lE;B&lE;C&lE;D. This setting assures smooth flow of the application liquid such as ink etc., with respect to the cartridge.

A cartridge includes a cartridge body and a holder for holding a stick cosmetic and movable forward/backward in accordance with a screw movement. A container body includes an outer cylinder for rotatably holding the cartridge body, a clicking rod movable forward/backward, a rotor rotated by a cam mechanism while moving forward together with the clicking rod when a clicking operation is performed, and a rotation rod for transmitting the rotational force of the rotor to the holder. The holder and the rotor engage with the rotation rod in the rotating direction and are slidable forward/backward. When a clicking operation is performed, the holder rotates to move forward in accordance with the screw movement. When a clicking operation is not performed, the cartridge body is rotated to move the holder forward/backward.

Liquid coating device

A liquid applicator is provided which is capable of using a cartridge-type tank. The liquid applicator has a lock mechanism which is capable of preventing an inadvertent pressing of the knocking rod with a simple construction. A cartridge-type tank containing a liquid therein is accommodated within the cylindrical applicator body while a soaker for applying the liquid sealed in the tank is attached to the forward tip end of the applicator body. The cylindrical tail plug is detachably fitted into the rearward end of the applicator body with the tail plug being formed with an engaging lug radially outwardly therein. The knocking rod is coaxially provided inside the cylindrical tail plug with the lug inwardly projecting from an inside surface of the tail plug being engaged with the L-shaped groove formed in the periphery of the knocking rod.

Cartridge-type liquid applicator

A liquid applicator includes: an applicator portion provided at the front end of a barrel; a barrel joint having an approximately cylindrical shape, fitted into the rear of the barrel; and a pushing mechanism having a piston for pushing the liquid, accommodated inside the barrel joint. In this pushing mechanism, as a rotary handle is turned, a threaded shaft together with a delivering member rotates so as to move itself forwards by means of screw engagement with a threaded piece fixed to the barrel joint and thereby move the piston in the same direction. A liquid contained in front of the piston is delivered toward the applicator portion, thus the applicator portion is impregnated with the liquid.

An applicator includes: a barrel cylinder; an application portion in front of the barrel cylinder; a tank placed behind the application portion for storing liquid inside the barrel cylinder; a pipe (conduit) for conducting the liquid ejected from the tank to the application portion; a piston which is fitted in the tank as to slide in the axial direction ensuring a watertight contact; and a liquid pushing device placed in the rear part of the barrel cylinder for pushing the liquid from the tank to the application portion via the pipe by moving the piston forwards. In this applicator, the bore of the pipe is set between 0.2 mm and 1.7 mm, and the viscosity of the liquid measured by the E-type viscometer within an temperature range for operation is set between 20 mpa.sec and 100,000 mpa.sec. Further, the barrel cylinder is formed of PP, and the piston is formed of HDPE or LLDPE.

A fluid applicator which makes application work easy because liquid splash outside the container body is prevented by opening the valve by removing the cap such that the liquid is supplied directly to the applicator member from the container body. The valve body incorporated in a sealed chamber is pressed against the shouldered seal portion to bring the sealed chamber into communication with the connecting passage such that the liquid discharged from the container body is allowed to flow into the sealed chamber through a hollow shaft member and is further led through a connecting passage into the applicator attachment hole to which the applicator member is attached.

An applicator for applying a fluid such as eye shadow. The applicator comprises a tubular core having a conduit, and a porous outer membrane arranged to cover the tip of the tubular core. The outlet of the conduit, of the tubular core is formed so that the outlet opens in the tubular core on one side of the tubular core from the longitudinal axis of the tubular core. Therefore, it is possible to apply a fluid to a surface, such a skin of a human being, by using one side of the applicator through which the fluid easily soaks, and to spread and gradate the fluid on the surface, by using the other side of the applicator. The outer membrane may be made from two or three porous sheet members having different porosities from each other, so that a fluid easily soaks through one of the porous sheet members having a relatively large porosity.
