In an embodiment, an energy storage apparatus includes plural energy storage devices arranged in a first direction, and a frame arranged along the energy storage devices. Each of the energy storage devices has an outer surface facing in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. The frame has a first portion extending in the first direction along the outer surface, and a second portion extending in the second direction toward a facing surface on which the energy storage apparatus is installed, from at least a part of the first portion.

In an embodiment, an energy storage apparatus includes a plurality of energy storage devices arranged in a first direction and a pair of insulators extending in the first direction along the plurality of energy storage devices and arranged at an interval from each other in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, and each of the plurality of energy storage devices has an outer surface facing a third direction orthogonal to the first direction and the second direction, and each of the pair of insulators has a space forming part extending from a position on the outer surface in the first direction and the third direction, and forming a space between a facing surface, on which the energy storage apparatus is installed, and the outer surface.

Provided is an energy storage apparatus which includes: a plurality of energy storage devices arranged in a first direction; a plurality of bus bars electrically connecting the energy storage devices; and a bundle portion configured by bundling a plurality of electric wires connected to the energy storage device or the bus bar. The bundle portion is configured such that a base portion of the bundle portion is disposed at a position along the energy storage devices. The position is an intermediate position of the plurality of the energy storage devices in the first direction. The bundle portion is configured to change a direction thereof using the base portion as an initiation point.

An electric storage device includes: an electrode assembly including a positive electrode plate and a negative electrode plate that are insulated from each other; a pair of current collectors each of which includes a connecting portion and is connected to a corresponding one of the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate at the connecting portion; a case that houses the electrode assembly and the pair of current collectors, the electrode assembly being supported by the pair of current collectors in the case; and a distance retaining member that retains a distance between portions more distal than the respective connecting portions of the pair of current collectors.

The plastic member includes a material having a hardness greater than a hardness of the sealing member.

This electric storage device includes a case having a first inner surface and a second inner surface adjacent to the first inner surface, an electrode assembly housed in the case and including a positive electrode plate and a negative electrode plate insulated from each other, an electrode terminal disposed outside the case, and a current collector housed in the case and electrically connecting the electrode assembly and the electrode terminal to each other. A distal end edge of a distal end portion of the current collector is supported on the first inner surface of the case.

There is provided an electric storage device having a novel fastening structure of a plastic member which can reduce cost with a simple configuration. An electric storage device according to this invention includes an electrode assembly, a case housing the electrode assembly, a plastic member arranged at an outer surface of the case, the plastic member having a joining surface facing the outer surface of the case, and an external terminal supported by the plastic member and electrically connected to the electrode assembly. The plastic member is a synthetic resin containing an inorganic fiber and is bonded to the outer surface of the case with the inorganic fiber exposed at the joining surface.
