A hydraulic cylinder includes: a cylinder tube; a piston rod; a piston member; a rod inner passage provided within the piston rod, a rod inner passage being configured such that a first opening portion opens at an outer circumferential surface of the piston rod in the cylinder tube, and such that a second opening portion opens outside the cylinder tube; and a sensor part provided outside the cylinder tube, the sensor part being configured to detect that the working fluid is guided to the rod inner passage, the piston member is connected to the piston rod in a state in which one-side end surface is in contact with an annular step portion so as to block the first opening portion of the rod inner passage, the annular step portion being provided on the outer circumferential surface of the piston rod, and the sensor part is configured to detect that the working fluid is guided to the rod inner passage from a rod side chamber and a counter rod side chamber through a gap between the step portion and the piston member.

A bonded body formed by frictional pressure-contact, includes: a first member including an end surface and a hollow portion with an opening in the end surface; and a second member including a body portion bonded to the end surface and a protrusion portion protruding from the body portion, the protrusion portion being accommodated in the hollow portion, wherein at least one of an inner peripheral surface of the hollow portion and an outer peripheral surface of the protrusion portion includes an inclined portion inclined to a radial direction of the opening, while the other is in contact with the inclined portion.

Bonded body, fluid pressure cylinder, and manufacturing method of bonded body

A fluid pressure cylinder includes a cushion bearing provided movably on an outer periphery of the piston rod; a flange portion provided on the piston rod by facing the piston with the cushion bearing between them; and a collar provided movably in a radial direction on the outer periphery of the piston rod between the cushion bearing and the flange portion. End surfaces of the cushion bearing and the collar are inclined symmetrically to a center axis of the piston rod, and end surfaces of the flange portion and the collar are formed having plane shapes crossing the center axis.

One embodiment provides a hydraulic pressure generation apparatus. In the hydraulic pressure generation apparatus, a motor attached to a base body. The base body includes: a first cylinder hole having a closed bottom in which a first piston is inserted to thereby form a master cylinder; and a second cylinder hole having a closed bottom in which a second piston is inserted to thereby form a slave cylinder. The first cylinder hole and the second cylinder hole have respective openings in a surface of the base body located on one side thereof. Axial lines of the first cylinder hole, the second cylinder hole and an output shaft of the motor are arranged approximately parallel with each other.

Hydraulic pressure generation apparatus

One embodiment provides a hydraulic pressure generating apparatus including: a base body; a master cylinder; and a stroke sensor, wherein a rear surface of the base body faces a brake operator, a bottomed-cylindrical-shaped first cylinder bore accommodating a first piston of the master cylinder is opened to the rear surface of the base body, and an input member connected to the brake operator is inserted in the first cylinder bore. The stroke sensor, plural solenoid valves and a control unit are attached to one surface of the base body, such that the stroke sensor and the solenoid valves are accommodated within a housing of the control unit. On the one surface, the stroke sensor is disposed adjacent to the rear surface of the base body, and the solenoid valves are disposed adjacent to a front surface of the base body.

Hydraulic pressure generating apparatus

A hydraulic cylinder includes a rod inner passage that is formed in a piston rod along an axial direction and communicates a fluid pressure source and an interior of a cylinder tube; a plug that is inserted from an open end that opens to the interior of the cylinder tube of the rod inner passage; a lateral hole that is formed in the piston rod along a radial direction and extends so as to cross the rod inner passage; and a pin that is inserted into the lateral hole. In the piston rod, an inner-circumference screw portion is formed on an inner circumference of the rod inner passage, and on the plug, an outer-circumference screw portion that is screwed into the inner-circumference screw portion and an engagement portion that is engaged with the pin and locks rotation of the plug are formed.

In one embodiment of the brake system, the control unit executes a fluid suction control to suck in the brake fluid from the supply line. The control unit determines whether or not the fluid suction control needs to be executed, and in the event that the control unit determines that the fluid suction control needs to be executed, the control unit is configured to close the cutoff valve and control the electric actuator to drive the slave cylinder in a depressurizing direction.

Brake system

A device mounting structure for mounting a load maintaining mechanism on a hydraulic cylinder, a pipe for suppling and discharging working oil to and from the hydraulic cylinder being connected to the load maintaining mechanism such that the working oil is led thereto, includes a single coupling portion that includes a screw hole and is provided on the hydraulic cylinder, and a bracket to which the load maintaining mechanism is fixed, the bracket being coupled to the coupling portion via a first screw member that is screwed into the screw hole, wherein the bracket includes a first through hole through which the first screw member is passed so as to leave a gap in a radial direction.

Device mounting structure

In one embodiment of the brake system, the connection of the master cylinder and the slave cylinder to the wheel brakes can be switched by the first switching valve and the second switching valve, and the communication with the slave cylinder can be cut off by the first cutoff valve and the second cutoff valve. This enables the fluid pressures which are applied to the wheel brakes to be put in the various states without having a complex configuration, thereby making it possible to control the fluid pressures with good efficiency in such a way as to match suitably the conditions of the brake system and the conditions of the vehicle.

A piston rod manufacturing method of manufacturing a piston rod by joining a solid rod main body and a solid rod head includes a first step of joining respective end surfaces of the rod main body and the rod head by friction welding; and a second step of performing boring process on an axial center portion from the rod head side so as to penetrate through a joining face between the rod main body and the rod head.

Piston rod manufacturing method

A cylinder device includes a regulation mechanism that regulates separation distance between a front piston and a rear piston. A spring seat member of the regulation mechanism includes a spring reception part that projects toward a retainer side to receive a rear end of a spring, a cup seal holding part that projects on an opposite side from the retainer to hold a cup seal arranged on the rear piston, and a projection part that projects on the opposite side from the retainer. The projection part becomes abuttable on the retainer by a stroke of the rear piston if the spring reception part and the cup seal holding part are installed reversely-oriented on the rear piston.

Cylinder device and vehicle brake system

An electric actuator includes a shaft member, a nut member, a power transmission member, and a guide portion. A spiral groove is formed on an outer circumference of the shaft member. The nut member is fitted onto the shaft member. A power transmission member is disposed between an inner circumference of the nut member and the groove. The guide portion is configured to guide linear motion of the shaft member. Rotation of the nut member about the shaft member by means of a rotational driving force of an electric motor results in the linear motion of the shaft member. The guide portion includes a rotating mechanism portion configured to rotate the shaft member about an axis when the shaft member is in the linear motion.

Electric actuator and vehicle brake system

A fluid pressure cylinder includes a cylinder tube, a piston and a solid piston rod. The piston rod includes a head-side passage defined by a head-side shaft hole extending in an axial direction, a head-side outer hole open on a part projecting from the cylinder tube and a head-side inner hole open to a head-side chamber and allowing communication between a head-side chamber and a fluid pressure source, and a bottom-side passage allowing communication between a bottom-side chamber and the fluid pressure source. The head-side shaft hole includes an opening end and a tip formed inside the piston rod. The opening end of the head-side shaft hole is sealed by a sealing member.

Fluid pressure cylinder and manufacturing method therefor

Untreated bosses are formed in advance in two directions on a cylinder mechanism. The bosses on one side are formed as mounts to attach a motor cylinder device to a vehicle body, and the other bosses are formed as ports to connect to the cylinder mechanism. The mount bosses are formed on the outside in the width direction of the vehicle, and the port bosses are formed on the inside in the width direction of the vehicle.
