Disclosed are (1) a stabilized FGF protein composition which comprises an FGF protein and water-insoluble hydroxypropyl cellulose; (2) a method for preparing a stabilized FGF protein composition, which comprises admixing an FGF protein with a water-insoluble hydroxypropyl cellulose; and (3) a method for stabilizing an FGF protein which comprises admixing an FGF protein with a water-insoluble hydroxypropyl cellulose, whereby the stabilized FGF protein can be provided. The composition is obtained in a solid state which has improved stability.

Stabilized FGF composition and production thereof

A vitamin-containing granule comprising one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of vitamin B.sub.6, vitamin B.sub.2, nicotinamide and a pantothenic acid salt, and a binding agent, said compound or compounds accounting for 90 to 99 weight percent of the granules on the dry basis, can be prepared by spray-coating the powders of said compound or compounds with a solution containing a binder while maintaining the powders in a fluidized state in a fluidized-bed granulation apparatus. The granules are highly flowable and blend well with other medicaments, granules, additives, and so on. In addition to this, the granules are excellent in compressibility so that they can be processed into tablets with small amounts of excipients, and the tablets therefrom have satisfactory high hardness.

Vitamin-containing granules and production thereof

Granules consisting of a thiamine salt and a binder such as water-soluble celluloses, said thiamine salt accounting for about 95 to about 98 percent by weight on the dried basis, can be prepared by spray-coating thiamine salt powder at least about 95 percent by weight of which is capable of passing through a 145-mesh sieve with a solution containing a binder while maintaining said thiamine salt powder in a fluidized state in a fluidized-bed granulation apparatus. The granules are excellent in flowability, mixability, compressibility and bonding properties, and can be used for tablet manufacturing.

Granules of thiamine salt and the production thereof

Granules of higher potency of sodium L-ascorbate obtainable by spray-coating sodium L-ascorbate powder in a fluidized-bed granulator with a binder are excellent in terms of color stability and flowability. Tablets obtainable by compressing the granules have a satisfactory mechanical strength.

Granules of sodium ascorbate and the production thereof

L-ascorbic acid tablets which contain more than about 90 weight percent of L-ascorbic acid and have a satisfactory mechanical strength can be obtained by spray-coating L-ascorbic acid powder capable of passing through a 200-mesh screen, with a solution of a binder under constant agitation in fluidized-bed granulating apparatus, until the amount of the binder has reached about 2 to about 4 weight percent relative to L-ascorbic acid, and compressing the resultant granules mixed with a lubricant into tablets.
