A biological sample detection device configured to acquire color information of an object of analysis without a deterioration in color extraction accuracy caused by incorrect extraction of color of a colored label and to measure the amount of liquid and determine the type of a sample, by analyzing the biological sample housed in a biological sample tube to which a colored label is attached, and determining whether or not a colored label is present on the biological sample tube; extracting the colored label determined to be present by the colored label presence determining process; removing the colored label from the color image and extracting a detection object region in the biological sample; and analyzing to acquire color information of the detection object region and analyze the liquid amount and the type of the biological sample.

Biological sample detection device

A liquid level detection device capable of accurately detecting an interface inside a container has an irradiation unit which irradiates a side surface of a sample container containing a sample having layers with light. A light receiving unit receives transmitted light from the sample container and an analysis unit acquires the interfaces between the layers from the received amount of the transmitted light. The sample container is moved vertically relative to the irradiation unit and the light receiving unit by a first drive and is moved in the circumferential direction relative to the irradiation unit and the light receiving unit by a second drive. The second drive is controlled so that the light receiving unit receives the transmitted light at first and second irradiation angles, and the interfaces between the layers are acquired on the basis of the received amounts of transmitted light at the first and second irradiation angles.

Liquid level detection device that irradiates a container at multiple angles

A nucleic acid analysis apparatus capable of selecting an optimal analysis method for every user and improving throughput is provided. In a genetic analyzer for measuring and analyzing amplification reaction of a nucleic acid in real time, an amplification curve is analyzed and a user can select conditions for terminating the amplification reaction upon detection of amplification. Further, a user can select conditions for selecting next processing after termination of the amplification reaction. A user can select, in situ, conditions for terminating the amplification reaction and conditions for selecting next processing upon detection of amplification and after the termination of amplification reaction. Alternatively, conditions for terminating the amplification reaction and conditions for selecting the next processing are registered previously and processing is performed automatically upon detection of amplification and after termination of the amplification reaction.
