The present disclosure relates to a novel resin composition which imposes a reduced environmental load and which is excellent in dispersibility of fine polymer particles. Provided is a resin composition containing water, fine polymer particles (A) having a specific feature, and a thermosetting resin (B) having a specific feature. The resin composition contains the water, the fine polymer particles (A), and the thermosetting resin (B) in respective specific amounts, does not substantially contain an organic solvent, and contains sulfur (S) in an amount falling within a specific range and phosphorus (P) in an amount falling within a specific range.

Resin composition and use for same

An object of the present invention is to provide an optical resin material and an optical film, which are very small in both orientation birefringence and photoelastic birefringence, excellent in transparency, have few defects due to foreign substances, and are excellent in heat resistance and mechanical strength. Provided is an optical resin material containing a graft copolymer (C) obtained by polymerizing a vinyl-based monomer mixture (B) in the presence of a vinyl-based polymer (A) having at least one crosslinked structure layer, wherein the graft copolymer (C) has an orientation birefringence of &#x2212;15&#xd7;10to 15&#xd7;10and a photoelastic constant of &#x2212;10&#xd7;10to 10&#xd7;10Pa.

Optical resin material and optical film

An object of the present invention is to provide a resin material capable of producing a molded body having few defects due to foreign substances, having high mechanical strength, very small in both orientation birefringence and photoelastic birefringence, and having high transparency, and having high transparency even when such a resin material is stretched. Provided is a resin composition containing a resin (A) and a multilayer structure polymer (B), wherein the multilayer structure polymer (B) has a crosslinked polymer layer and a hard polymer layer, and the hard polymer layer has at least two different hard polymer layers, at least one of which is a hard polymer layer (C) opposite in sign of a photoelastic constant to that of the resin (A).

Resin composition and film thereof

A resin composition includes an acrylic resin and a graft copolymer having a gel content of 65% to 84%, wherein the graft copolymer is a multistage-polymerized graft copolymer obtained by a multistage polymerization including the polymerization stages (I) to (III). In the polymerization stage (I), a first monomer mixture and a polyfunctional monomer are polymerized in a presence of a primary alkyl mercaptan-based chain transfer agent and/or a secondary alkyl mercaptan-based chain transfer agent to obtain a first hard polymer. In the polymerization stage (II), a second monomer mixture and a polyfunctional monomer are polymerized to obtain a soft polymer. In the polymerization stage (III), a third monomer mixture and a polyfunctional monomer are polymerized to obtain a second hard polymer.

Acrylic resin composition, and molded product and film made from same

An object of the present invention is to provide an optical thermoplastic resin having excellent transparency and color tone, and also excellent heat stability, as well as being extremely low in both orientation birefringence and photoelastic birefringence; and a formed body made of said resin. This optical thermoplastic resin has a rate of reduction in melt viscosity of less than 20%, an orientation birefringence of &#x2212;1.7&#xd7;10to 1.7&#xd7;10, a photoelastic constant of &#x2212;2&#xd7;10to 2&#xd7;10Pa, and, when formed into a 2 mm-thick formed body, has a haze of 1% or less.

Optical thermoplastic resin and formed body

Disclosed herein is a non-birefringent resin material that is very small in both orientation birefringence and photoelastic birefringence, has high transparency, and is capable of providing a molded article having few foreign matter defects and a film made of such a material. The non-birefringent resin material contains a resin (A) and a polymer (B) and has an orientation birefringence of &#x2212;1.7&#xd7;10to 1.7&#xd7;10and a photoelastic constant of &#x2212;4&#xd7;10to 4&#xd7;10Pa.
