To achieve high density integration of components while securing an insulation distance between a bootstrap capacitor and an intelligent power module. In a printed wiring board, a region where a capacitor is mounted is located in a region where an intelligent power module is mounted. Therefore, the capacitor mounted on the printed wiring board is placed between the printed wiring board and the intelligent power module.

Inverter device including a bootstrap circuit

A power converter includes: a converter circuit converting an alternating current to a direct current; a reactor electrically connected to one of output terminals of the converter circuit; a capacitor electrically connected to the other output terminal of the converter circuit and the reactor; and an inverter circuit electrically connected to the capacitor converting the direct current to an alternating current. The capacitor is a film capacitor. The capacitor and the reactor are mounted on an identical circuit board.

A converter, a first switch, a second switch, and an inverter are disposed in that order along a second direction, at a first position in a first direction. A reactor and a capacitor are disposed in that order along the second direction, at a second position in the first direction. Energy is stored in the reactor via the first switch. The capacitor is discharged via the second switch. At least one of a set of the reactor and the converter and a set of the capacitor and the inverter is disposed side by side along the first direction.

Power conversion device and refrigeration apparatus

An inverter driver of an air conditioner drives an inverter of an actuator that actuates the air conditioner. The inverter driver includes a drive circuit outputting a drive signal to the inverter, a microcomputer controlling the drive circuit, a first mechanical relay connected to the drive circuit, and an inverter control power supply continually supplying power to the microcomputer. The first mechanical relay is capable of cutting off an inverter drive power supply of the drive circuit or cutting off the drive signal of the drive circuit. The first mechanical relay cuts off the inverter drive power supply of the drive circuit or the drive signal of the drive circuit when an abnormality in the air conditioner has been sensed and stopping the driving of the actuator has been requested.

An inverter apparatus variably controls an operation frequency of an electric motor provided in a refrigerating device, and includes: a printed wiring board; a power device attached to one surface of the printed wiring board, the power device including a converter circuit and an inverter circuit; a reactor arranged on a side of the one surface of the printed wiring board, at least a part of the reactor being arranged within a plane projection area of the printed wiring board; and a cooler for cooling the power device and the reactor, the cooler being arranged such that the power device and the reactor are interposed between the cooler and the printed wiring board.

Inverter apparatus

A discharge switch and a capacitor are connected in series between first and second DC power supply lines. A boost circuit boosts a rectified voltage to charge the capacitor. An inverter receives the rectified voltage as a DC voltage when the discharge switch is not conducting, receives a voltage across the capacitor as the DC voltage when the discharge switch is conducting, converts the DC voltage into an AC voltage, and outputs it to a motor. A switch control unit maintains the discharge switch not conducting over a first time period, and switches the discharge switch between conducting and not conducting in a second time period. A charge and discharge time period setting unit sets the first time period when a rotational speed of the motor is higher than a speed threshold shorter than the first time period when the rotational speed is lower than the speed threshold.

Power converter control device

A module-terminal block connection structure includes: a printed wiring board; a terminal block which is disposed on one surface of the printed wiring board and is formed into a three-dimensional shape by a conductive material, the terminal block being fixed to the printed wiring board; a power module which is disposed on the other surface (rear surface) of the printed wiring board and includes an electric circuit and a press-fit type lead pin used as a circuit terminal; and a conductive portion which is electrically connected to the terminal block, includes a hole (through-hole) for press-inserting the lead pin thereinto, and is electrically connected to the power module while the lead pin is press-inserted into the hole.
