An intermittent film forming system is provided, comprising a mold having a fine projections and depressions shape formed on the surface, a press for pressing a film to the surface of the mold, a transportation for carrying the film, and a releasing device for releasing the film from the mold surface. The releasing device is provided with a stripper roll for stripping the film, a means for rotary driving the stripper roll, an auxiliary roll arranged substantially in parallel with the stripper roll across a film path line, a means for moving the auxiliary roll on the periphery of the stripper roll such that the film embraces the stripper roll, and a guide for moving the stripper roll and the auxiliary roll in the vicinity of the surface of the mold in parallel therewith, while maintaining the relative positional relationship that the film embraces the stripper roll.

Intermittent film forming system and intermittent film forming method

An apparatus is provided for manufacturing a laminated sheet wherein different molten resins are alternately laminated by providing a multitude of slits arranged at intervals and permitting the different molten resins to flow out from the adjacent slits. A value of a shortest flow path length (L) to a longest flow path length (L) of the molten resin that flows from an inlet to an outlet of the slit, which is a ratio of (L)/(L), is 0.5 or more. The slits include slits having different slit lengths. A flow quantity of the molten resin at the slit is changed by changing the intervals of the slits, length of the slits or by changing the temperature of the molten resin at the slits.

Apparatus and method for manufacturing laminated sheet

Method and apparatus for producing thermoplastic resin film which allows a biaxially oriented polyester film to be formed at a high speed of 400 m/min or more. In the method, a molten thermoplastic resin film is brought into contact with a cooling medium, to be cooled and solidified, for producing a cast film. The method is characterized by keeping the surface temperature of the cooling medium in the region immediately before the melt reaching position at not lower than the glass transition temperature and not higher than the melting point of the thermoplastic resin. The apparatus is characterized by a cooling medium having a heater and a cooler to ensure that the surface temperature of the cooling medium in the region immediately before the melt reaching position is kept at the requisite temperature, and by a surface temperature of the cooling drum in the region immediately before the film leaving position being maintained lower than the glass transition temperature of the thermoplastic resin.
