An access control apparatus including a memory section that stores information; an authentication information memory section that stores at least first stored user authentication information and second stored user authentication information corresponding to a user; an input section in which first inputted user authentication information and second inputted user authentication information are inputted; a judgment section that judges whether the first inputted user authentication information matches the first stored user authentication information; a registration section that stores a second inputted authentication information in the authentication information memory section, if the judgment sections judges that the first inputted authentication information matches the first stored user authentication information; and an approval section that approves access to the information stored in the memory section for a predetermined time period if the judgment section judges that: (1) the first inputted authentication information matches the first stored user authentication information, and (2) the second inputted authentication information matches the second stored authentication information.

An information display device for displaying prescribed information on a prescribed display body, includes: an authentication operation request section for allowing a user to make user authentication; and an operation permission section for accepting an operation on said information display device for a prescribed permission time since said information display device is lastly operated, if the user who makes the authentication operation is authorized to perform the operation of said information display device; wherein said operation permission section sets said permission time based on the display contents on said display body.

A storage terminal includes an information storage unit, an association storage unit, a receiving unit, and a processing unit. The information storage unit includes a plurality of storage areas having individually different identifiers assigned thereto. The association storage unit stores the identifiers individually in association with different communication addresses on a network. The receiving unit receives a request including one of the communication addresses. The processing unit identifies the identifier associated with the communication address included in the request with reference to the association storage unit, and executes processing according to the request on the storage area having the identified identifier assigned thereto.
