A thermoplastic resin composition of the present invention contains a graft copolymer (B) obtained by polymerizing a vinyl-based monomer component (m1) in the presence of a composite rubber polymer (A) formed from a polyorganosiloxane (Aa) and a poly(meth)acrylate ester (Ab), and a (meth)acrylate ester resin (C) obtained by polymerizing a vinyl-based monomer component (m2), wherein the amount of the polyorganosiloxane (Aa) relative to the total mass (100% by mass) of the composite rubber polymer (A) is from 1 to 20% by mass, the volume average particle size of the composite rubber polymer (A) is from 0.05 to 0.15 &#x3bc;m, and relative to the total mass (100% by mass) of the vinyl-based monomer component (m2), the amount of the maleimide-based compound is from 1 to 30% by mass, and the amount of the aromatic vinyl compound is from 5.5 to 15% by mass.

[Object] To provide lubricating thermoplastic resin compositions that can give formed articles exhibiting excellent lubricating properties and surface appearance and maintaining the lubricating properties permanently. [Solution] The lubricating thermoplastic resin composition includes an acid-modified copolymer (A) of a monomer mixture including an aromatic vinyl and a vinyl cyanide, the copolymer having a carboxyl group in the molecular chain, and a functionalized lubricant (B) having, in the molecule, a functional group (B1) capable of reacting with the carboxyl group and a lubricating segment (B2) having lubricating properties. The composition may further include a graft copolymer (C) and/or an additional thermoplastic resin (D) other than the acid-modified copolymer (A).

This graft copolymer is obtainable by polymerization of a vinyl-based monomer mixture (m) including an aromatic vinyl compound and a vinyl cyanide compound, in the presence of: an ethylene.&#x3b1;-olefin copolymer (A) which has a mass average molecular weight (Mw) of 17&#xd7;10to 35&#xd7;10and a distribution of molecular weight (Mw/Mn) of 1 to 3; or a cross-linked ethylene.&#x3b1;-olefin copolymer (C) obtainable by cross-linking treatment of the ethylene.&#x3b1;-olefin copolymer (A).
