According to one embodiment, an air conditioner includes a blower device and a heat exchanger. The blower device includes a fan motor, a fan, a fan case and a coupling member. The fan motor includes a first end section and a second end section separate from each other. The fan is coaxially fixed to a rotating shaft. The fan case accommodating the fan and for guiding air discharged from the fan toward the heat exchanger. The coupling member includes a pair of arm sections respectively coupled to the first end section and the second end section, and a bar-like section extending in the axial direction of the rotating shaft across the arm sections and coupled to the fan case. The fan motor and the fan case are integrally coupled to each other through the coupling member.

Air conditioner and blower device

According to one embodiment, a ceiling-embedded air conditioner includes a main body incorporating a heat exchanger, a decorative panel attached to a lower edge of the main body and including a discharge port discharging air heat-exchanged in the heat exchanger to a room, and a drain pan including a thermal insulating member and a synthetic resin member coating the thermal insulating member. The drain pan includes a recess for receiving drain water produced in the heat exchanger, a communication port provided on a periphery of the recess and communicating with the discharge port of the decorative panel, and a wall standing between the periphery of the recess and the communication port. The wall is composed of the synthetic resin member.

Air conditioner

An indoor unit of an air conditioner includes a heat exchanger accommodated inside a indoor unit body which is a housing whose lower face is opened, a drain pan which is disposed below the heat exchanger and receives drain water generated at the heat exchanger, a drain pump which is detachably disposed within the indoor unit body, sucks drain water accumulated in the drain pan and discharges the drain water to the outside, a drain port which is disposed at a bottom face wall section of the drain pan, the port being an opening portion through which the drain pump is insertable, and a drain cap which openably closes the drain pump insertion port.
