A specimen rack can be used for specimen containers irrespective of kinds thereof and irrespective of whether or not the specimen containers are rotated. An adapter is used for an automatic analyzer and a specimen pre-processing device and is adapted for a specimen rack capable of holding specimen containers. The adapter is provided with a specimen rack mounting section inserted and fixed to an adapter insertion section of a specimen rack body, a specimen container positioning section for holding the specimen containers, and a sleeve.

A specimen preprocessing system includes a determination section for determining with respect to a height of a specimen container; a specimen container lifting mechanism for lifting an opening portion of the specimen container held in a specimen rack to a same predetermined level based on determination information data of the determination section; and a plug opening mechanism for opening a plug of the specimen container lifted to the same predetermined level by the specimen container lifting mechanism.

Indole derivative and application thereof

According to the present invention, a sample treatment system is capable of successfully detecting the shape of a stopper of a stopper-equipped sample vessel. A sample treatment system comprises: a sample rack for supporting a stopper-equipped sample vessel in which collected samples are stored; a transfer line for transferring the sample rack; a pretreatment unit that is lined up along the transfer line, and that performs various kinds of pretreatment; and a control unit for controlling the operation of the transfer line and that of the pretreatment unit; wherein the pretreatment unit includes a sample rack supplying unit, a centrifugal separation unit, a stopper opening unit, a dispensing unit, a stopper closing unit, a classification unit, and a sample storing unit, the sample treatment system further comprising shape detection means for detecting the shape of the stopper.

Sample treatment system

A sample dispensing apparatus dispenses a sample from a container accommodating a sample such as blood or urea sampled for checking. This sample dispensing apparatus can prevent internal contamination of the apparatus due to dripping of the sample and abnormal sucking operations caused by drainage, condensation and fixing of the sample. The sample dispensing apparatus according to the present invention comprises a dispensing device for dispensing a sucked sample, a dispensing head provided in the dispensing device, and a disposable nozzle chip dismountably set on the dispensing head. In this apparatus, dispensing of a sample to child sample containers is performed exchanging the child sample containers with new ones. When the state, in which dispensing to the child container cannot be carried out, is continued for a prespecified period of time, the nozzle chip is automatically released from the dispensing head.
