[Object of the Invention] An object of the present invention is to provide a detachable connector between a face piece and a filter of a breathing apparatus comprising a bayonet connection mechanism for connecting a pair of members by pushing and twisting operation, wherein detaching of the filter from the face piece by accident or user error is effectively prevented. [Disclosure of the Invention] A detachable connector between a face piece and a filter of a breathing apparatus is provided with a bayonet connection mechanism for connecting a pair of members by pushing and twisting operation, and a lock mechanism for locking a connection between the pair of members by fitting a pin in a hole provided in an elastic member, wherein connecting motion of the bayonet connection mechanism synchronizes with locking motion of the lock mechanism so that connection of the filter and locking of the connection are carried out simultaneously when the filter is connected to the face piece, while unlocking motion of the lock mechanism precedes disconnecting motion of the bayonet connection mechanism so that unlocking of the connection precedes disconnection of the filter when the filter is disconnected from the face piece.

Detachable connector

A breathing apparatus including a face piece for covering the whole face or part of the face, an inhale valve and an exhale valve provided on the face piece, a motor fan for supplying external air into the face piece through the inhale valve, a filter for cleaning the external air sucked into the motor fan, a breath monitoring apparatus provided on the face piece and not comprising the inhale valve and the exhale valve, and a controller for controlling the operation of the motor fan synchronously with the breath based on the detection signal from the breath monitoring apparatus.

Breathing apparatus

A mask comprising a mask main body and a face seal, wherein the outer periphery part of the main body and the outer periphery part of the face seal are adhered, said face seal is composed of a sheet prepared by laminating soft resin such as polyurethane resin on one surface of elastic fabric made of nylon or polyester fibers, and said laminated sheet is cut off to have a modified ring shape.

Mask

Film made of floppy and deformable synthetic resin is used as a valve body of an inhalation valve and attached to the surface of a valve seat which is formed to a concave groove like shape having an arbitarily sectional view. The said valve body can not be applied to a conventional valve seat which has a flat surface. The inhalation valve is embedded to the breathing-in space of mask in which a filter pad is put in and prevent the valve body which separates from the seat at inhalation timing from entering into face contact part.

Inhalation valve

An exhalation valve means of a positive pressure type respiration mask which can be easily converted to a non-positive pressure type (atmospheric pressure type) mask when necessary. The exhalation valve means includes a valve body unit, which comprises an exhalation value seat, a valve body supporting member which is detachably mounted within an exhalation valve chamber, and a valve body which is supported by said valve body supporting member and energized against said exhalation valve seat. Said valve seat has a means for mounting a rubber membrane valve body which is used for the valve body unit.

Exhalation valve means of a respiration mask

A pressure responsive diaphragm valve, particularly suitable for a respiration responsive valve for a respirator mask. The whole of the valve assembly body is constituted by the mutually laminated layer members and assembled by simply tightening the layer members together. All of the layer members can be made by molding, without machining.

Pressure responsive diaphragm valve

A face shield assembly having the upper part of both side peripheral portions or the upper part of both side peripheral portions and the upper peripheral portion in an eyepiece, abutted against the frame. The remaining parts of the eyepiece are fitted in the peripheral portion of a view window of the frame. The right and left side upper corner portions of the eye piece are retained in position by a pair of retaining members and each of the retaining members is held in position by a hand-operated screw and an engagement between an engaging opening and a top-enlarged ridge. At least one anchoring bore formed in the side upper corner portion of the eye piece is fitted with a pin formed on the frame such that the eyepiece can be easily replaced without using any tools.

Face shield assembly

A mask in which an enclosure of an intake filtration chamber is partly or totally formed of a filtration medium so that a separate filtration medium need not be provided within the intake filtration chamber for replacement. The replacement of the filtration medium is effected by replacement of the entire intake filtration chamber. The invention provides a mask which is small in size and low in intake resistance and is free from a possible flow of contaminated air into the mask.
