It is an object of the present invention to provide a high affinity antibody effective as a diagnostic or therapeutic for various diseases; a transgenic mammal for producing the high affinity antibody; and a medicine comprising the high affinity antibody or a cell producing the high affinity antibody. According to the present invention, a transgenic mammal carrying a GANP gene transferred thereinto, its progeny, or a part thereof, and a method of producing a high affinity antibody using the same are provided.

The present invention aims at providing a high affinity anti-HIV antibody. According to the present invention, there are provided an antibody or a fragment thereof that binds to the gp12 glycoprotein of HIV and has a dissociation constant (KD) value of 1.0&#xd7;10(M) or less; a pharmaceutical composition comprising the antibody or fragment thereof; and a method of producing an anti-HIV antibody or a fragment thereof, comprising immunizing a GANP transgenic non-human mammal or a progeny thereof with a polypeptide consisting of the amino acid sequence as shown in SEQ ID NO: 6 as an antigen and collecting the antibody from the resultant mammal or progeny.

The object of the present invention is to provide a novel protein having a kinase activity and a gene encoding said protein. According to the present invention, there is provided a GANP protein which is represented by the amino acid sequence shown in SEQ ID No. 1 or No. 3 of the sequence listing, and is involved in the signal conversion of abnormal B cell differentiation in an autoimmune state, and has a kinase activity, and a polynucleotide which encodes said protein.
