Semiconductor packages and, more particularly, chip-embedded semiconductor packages. The packages include core panels with apertures extending through the core panel. Semiconductor chips are embedded within chip apertures. A molding compound can be positioned along one side of the core panel. The semiconductor chips can be embedded within the molding compound. The semiconductor chips also can be adhered to the molding compound. The coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) values of the core panels can be tailored to decrease warpage of the package as the semiconductor chip heats during use.

Embedded semiconductor packages and methods thereof

The present disclosure describes semiconductor packages and, more particularly, chip-embedded semiconductor packages. The packages include core panels with apertures extending through the core panel. Semiconductor chips are embedded within chip apertures. A molding compound can be positioned along one side of the core panel. In some examples, the semiconductor chips are embedded within the molding compound. In other examples, the semiconductor chips are adhered to the molding compound. The coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) values of the core panels described herein can be tailored to decrease warpage of the package as the semiconductor chip heats during use.

A method is provided for improving printing performance of a print job from a Graphics Device Interface (GDI) based Windows&#xae; application submitted to an XPSDrv printer driver which is utilized by a filter pipeline service, wherein a required conversion from an existing GDI/device driver interface (DDI) to an XML Paper Specification (XPS) performed by a GDI-to-XPS conversion unit is eliminated to reduce latency. The method includes replacing the GDI-to-XPS conversion unit with a printer graphics driver which converts DDI calls into raw spool data; and adding a dual head filter as a first filter to the filter pipeline service to handle the raw spool data generated from the printer graphics driver.

Software of a simple configuration checks whether an original image to be corrected is an image picture, and an image correction process based upon a formed histogram of the original image is not performed for an image different from the image picture. An image processing condition is set in accordance with the formed histogram to perform the image correction process for the original image. An image processing method judges from a shape of the formed histogram whether the original image is an image picture, and does not perform not perform the image correction process for the original image if it is judged that the original image is not an image picture.

According to an image processing method for performing color processing in accordance with a plurality of image objects, image data representing the plurality of image objects is input. The relationship between the plurality of image objects is analyzed. The plurality of image objects are grouped based on the result of analysis. The same color processing condition is set for the plurality of image objects belonging to the same group. Thus, the same color processing condition is set for the plurality of image objects divided from a single original image, thereby obtaining a high-quality output image.

Image processing method, image processing apparatus, and recording medium

An information memory system suitable for a recording medium such as an optical card which reciprocates. This memory system includes: a reading apparatus for reciprocating the recording medium and reading out the information recorded on the recording medium; an auxiliary memory apparatus different from the recording medium; and a managing apparatus for managing the reading apparatus and the auxiliary memory apparatus. The reading apparatus transfers the information read out of the recording medium to the managing apparatus, and the managing apparatus stores the information transferred from the reading apparatus to the auxiliary memory apparatus while new information is being read out. The reading apparatus has a memory for temporarily storing the information read out of the recording medium and transfers the information from the memory to the managing apparatus when the recording medium is reversed. With this system, the readout information can be efficiently transferred to the host computer side and can be processed. Therefore, the idle time of the host side can be extremely effectively used.
