Provided is a transportation service planning system including an operation unit and a storage unit. The storage unit stores an evaluation index designated for each of transportation systems, a creation condition of a service plan for each of the transportation systems, and a service simulation condition for each of the transportation systems. The operation unit creates a service plan for each of the transportation systems on the basis of the creation condition of the service plan, simulates a service of each of the transportation systems on the basis of the service plan and the simulation condition, calculates the evaluation index designated for each of the transportation systems on the basis of the simulation results, outputs the service plan if all of the evaluation indices satisfy a prescribed standard, and revises the service plan if at least one of the evaluation indices does not satisfy the prescribed standard.

An image search system comprising an video taking unit that takes a video, a search unit that contains a processor and a storage unit and searches for an image contained in the video, an input unit that receives information that is input to the search unit, and a display unit that displays information that is output from the search unit. The storage unit holds information indicating the shapes of trajectories that represent the travel paths of a plurality of moving objects extracted from the video. When information indicating the shape of a trajectory is input from the input unit, the search unit searches the plurality of moving-object trajectories held in the storage unit for trajectories that are similar to the input trajectory shape, and if such a trajectory is found, the search unit displays, on the display unit, images of the moving objects that have traveled along the found trajectories.

A stereotypical sentence is synthesized into a voice of an arbitrary speech style. A third party is able to prepare prosody data and a user of a terminal device having a voice synthesizing part can acquire the prosody data. The voice synthesizing method determines a voice-contents identifier to point to a type of voice contents of a stereotypical sentence, prepares a speech style dictionary including speech style and prosody data which correspond to the voice-contents identifier, selects prosody data of the synthesized voice to be generated from the speech style dictionary, and adds the selected prosody data to a voice synthesizeras voice-synthesizer driving data to thereby perform voice synthesis with a specific speech style. Thus, a voice of a stereotypical sentence can be synthesized with an arbitrary speech style.

Voice synthesizing method and voice synthesizer performing the same

A prosodic parameter for an input text is computed by storing a sentence of vocalized speech in a speech corpus memory, searching for a stored text having a similar prosody to an input text as a key to the speech corpus and modifying the prosodic parameter based upon the search results. Because a plurality of prosodic parameters are handled as a linking data, a synthesized sound similar to natural speech having a natural intonation and prosody is produced.
