The disclosure provides an optical sheet roll which enables improvement of yield by reducing the parts that are not usable as an optical sheet when cutting out an optical sheet in an adequate size. The present invention is to provide an image source unit for improving use efficiency of the image light and also provide an image display unit comprising the image source unit. The image source unitcomprising: an image light source; and an optical sheetlaminated on the image light source, the optical sheet comprising: a base material layer; and an optical functional layerformed on the image light source side surface of the base material layer, the optical functional layer comprising: light-transmissive portionsarranged parallel along the sheet face; and light-absorbing portion(s)arranged between the light-transmissive portions, the image light source side face of the light-transmissive portion having protrusionseach having a curved or polygonal line so that the protrusions project towards the image light source side in cross section in the sheet-thickness direction.

Intended is to provide an electromagnetic shielding material having a conductive layer pattern by transferring a conductive composite to a transparent base material, and an electromagnetic shielding material having a metal layer formed on the transferred conductive layer. The electromagnetic shielding material is free from the troubles such as the breaking of wire, the non-conforming shape or the low contact, which is based on the non-conforming transfer of the conductive composite. The electromagnetic shielding material comprises a transparent base material, a primer layer formed over the transparent base material, and a conductive layer formed in a predetermined pattern on the primer layer. In the primer layer, a portion having the conductive layer formed therein has a thickness larger than the thickness of a portion without the conductive layer.

A lens film provided in front of a light guide plate of a surface illuminant device comprises a base film, and a plurality of triangular parallel prisms formed in a two-dimensional arrangement on one surface of the base film integrally with the latter to form an exit surface. Each prism has a cross section of the shape of a isosceles triangle.
