A master module (A) mediates communication between an electric apparatus () to which a signal processing device () is connected and apparatus control devices (B) that control the electric apparatus. The master module is provided with: a plurality of first communication ports () for respectively connecting to a plurality of signal processing devices via a communication cable () for transmitting a superimposed signal; a data signal processing unit () that extracts a data signal from the superimposed signal received through the first communication port; an abnormality information generation unit () that, on the basis of status information that is included in the extracted data signal and indicates an abnormal state of the electric apparatus, generates abnormality information which indicates information related to an abnormality that has occurred; and an information output unit () that outputs the abnormality information such that the apparatus control devices can acquire the abnormality information.

Provided is an electric apparatus, which has excellent convenience and operates by switching an operation mode according to the type of a communication device of a connection destination. The electric apparatus includes: a superimposition signal transmission portion which transmits, to a communication device, a superimposition signal obtained by superimposing a data signal on an operation signal; an operation mode switching portion which switches between a normal operation mode in which transmission of the superimposition signal is performed and a low current consumption mode in which transmission of the superimposition signal is not performed; and a current detection portion which detects a current value supplied from the communication device, wherein the operation mode switching portion switches the low current consumption mode to the normal operation mode when the current detection portion detects a current equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold value in the low current consumption mode.

A signal processing device includes: a superposing circuit for generating a superposed signal obtained by superposing a data signal indicative of prescribed information on an operation signal relating to an operation element of an electric apparatus; an information storage part for storing the prescribed information; a signal transmission terminal for inputting/outputting the operation signal or the superposed signal to/from the electric apparatus or apparatus control devices; and an information transmission terminal for inputting/outputting information to/from an information transfer device which executes reading of information stored in the information storage part and/or writing of information in the information storage part. The signal processing device is connected to an external device via a connector member. Each of the terminals is provided in an area that is inside the connector member in a state where the signal processing device is connected to the external device via the connector member.

The present invention enables an apparatus or the like, which does not respond to a communication using a superposed signal, to be used in a system using the superposed signal. This control program, which is for a terminal device connectable to a signal processing device through a communication cable, includes: first identification information acquisition steps for acquiring, from the signal processing device, first identification information for identifying the signal processing device in the terminal device; second identification information acquisition steps for acquiring, through an input part of the terminal device, second identification information for identifying an electric apparatus that is electrically connected to the signal processing device and operates an operation element; generation steps for generating association information for associating the first identification information with the second identification information; and output steps for outputting the association information so that the association information is received by the information processing device.

An electric device capable of suppressing an influence of variation of a consumed current on a superimposed signal is provided. An electric device which transmits a superimposed signal obtained by superimposing a data signal on the operation signal according to a state of an operating element to the outside, includes a current consuming part configured to consume a current, and a current control part configured to control current consumption in a circuit including the current consuming part such that current variation of the superimposed signal following variation of the consumed current in the current consuming part is suppressed.

Electric device suppressing variations of electric current

An electrical device configured to transmit or receive a signal related to an operation element and transmit a data signal using a small number of wirings is realized. An electrical device includes a first terminal and a second terminal to which a pair of signal lines are connected, an operation element connected between the first terminal and the second terminal, and a transmission circuit configured to operate using a voltage between the first terminal and the second terminal as a power source. The second terminal transmits an output signal according to a state of the operation element to the outside, and the transmission circuit superimposes a data signal on the output signal and transmits the data signal from the second terminal to the outside.
