Battery module includes: a battery stack in which a plurality of batteries provided with a valve that ejects gas are stacked in a first direction; a discharge path that discharges gas ejected from the valve in a second direction intersecting the first direction; light emitter that is provided on one end in the first direction of the battery stack and emits light to the discharge path; and light receiver that is provided on another end in the first direction of the battery stack and receives the light emitted from light emitter.

Battery module

The battery module includes: battery stack configured to have a plurality of stacked batteries, batter stack including valve portion that releases a gas generated in each battery and output terminal; a plurality of bus bars configured to electrically connect output terminals of the plurality of batteries, the plurality of bus bars grouping the plurality of batteries into a plurality of battery units including at least two batteries, the plurality of bus bars connecting in parallel output terminals of batteries in each battery unit, the plurality of bus bars connecting in series battery units; and metal filter configured to be disposed between valve portion and output terminal in a first direction in which valve portion and output terminal are arranged and disposed, in stacking direction of batteries, within an extension range of battery belonging to a first terminal group to which a first bus bar of bus bars is fixed.

There is provided a battery system including parallel-connected bus bars each connecting the plurality of prismatic battery cells in parallel, and a safety mechanism configured to be capable of interrupting a current path of prismatic battery cells connected in parallel by the parallel-connected bus bars, where the sealing plate of one of the prismatic battery cells convexly deforms due to a rise in an internal pressure of this prismatic battery cell when an abnormality occurs, the sealing plate that has convexly deformed comes into contact with the parallel-connected bus bars to form external short circuitry between the electrode terminals that are positive and negative of one prismatic battery cell connected in parallel to the prismatic battery cell with the abnormality, and external short circuitry activates the safety mechanism that interrupts a current flowing into the prismatic battery cell with the abnormality.

Method of interrupting inflow current in battery system

A short circuit current interruption method of a battery system including: stacking a plurality of prismatic battery cells and connecting the plurality of prismatic battery cells with a parallel connection bus bar in parallel to form a battery block, wherein a sealing plate of the prismatic battery cell is a plate material having flexibility that deforms when an internal pressure rises due to an internal short circuit, and when a rise in the internal pressure due to the internal short circuit of the prismatic battery cell causes deformation, the deformation of the sealing plate is detected, and when an amount of deformation exceeds a setting value, the short circuit current of the battery connected in parallel with the internally short circuited battery is interrupted.

Method for interrupting short circuit current in battery system, battery system, and electric vehicle and power storage device which are equipped with battery system

A power supply device includes outer case, a battery block housed in this outer case and including at least one or more secondary batteries; a circuit board connected to the battery block; and power supply connector connected to output lead that outputs an output current from the battery block. Power supply connector is attached in a floating state to fixed surface of outer case. Furthermore, the circuit board is disposed in parallel to a first direction orthogonal to fixed surface between fixed surface and the battery block. Output lead is disposed in wiring space provided in a lower side or an upper side of the circuit board, and connected to the battery block.

Power supply device

An information acquiring device includes a laser light source which emits light in a predetermined wavelength region; a projection lens which projects the light from the laser light source toward a targeted area; an image sensor which receives reflected light reflected from the targeted area to output a signal; and an imaging lens which guides the reflected light to the image sensor; a filter which transmits the light from the laser light source; and an actuator which inclines the filter. A filter controlling circuit inclines the filter in such a direction as to approximate a transmissive wavelength region of the filter to the wavelength region of the light from the laser light source.

A laser radar according to an embodiment of the invention includes a beam irradiation head which emits a laser beam and a control circuit which controls the beam irradiation head to perform scan in a two-dimensional direction with the laser beam. In the laser radar, the beam irradiation head includes a laser beam source; a mirror to which the laser beam emitted from the laser beam source is incident; and a driving mechanism which rotates the mirror in first and second directions about a first rotating axis and a second rotating axis perpendicular to the first rotating axis respectively. This invention was made to reduce cost and the number of assembly processes and improve productivity by making viewing angle characteristics of light emitted from a light emitting surface even irrespective of a point in a bar-shaped light guide. A bar-shaped light guide of this invention comprises a light incident surface for receiving light emitted from a point light source, a light emitting surface, which is orthogonal to the light incident surface, for emitting light received on the light incident surface in a form of beam light, and a pattern surface made up of a side of the light incident surface and a side of the light emitting surface and having a plurality of grooves formed thereon. The plurality of grooves are regularly arranged on the pattern surface. An angle formed by the groove and the side of the light emitting surface on a side of the point light source is 35-55&deg;.

Bar-shaped light guide, beam lighting device using the bar-shaped light guide, and surface lighting device using the beam lighting device

A surface lighting device includes a stick type light guide body. The stick type light guide body receives a light emitted from a light emitting surface of an LED fixed on a substrate from a side surface which faces to the LED and emits the received light from a side surface which faces to a light guide plate. The emitted light is incident from a side surface of the light guide plate and is emitted from an upper surface of the light guide plate. Then, the substrate is formed with a through hole, and the stick light guide is formed with a protrude portion on the lower surface thereof. By fitting the protrude portion into the through hole, the LED and the stick type light guide body are relatively positioned such that the light emitting surface of the LED and the side surface of the stick light guide are brought into close contact with each other.

Surface lighting device

A split seal paper sheet in which the width of split seals composing the split seal paper sheet in the direction of conveyance of the paper sheet is smaller than the print width of a serial head is used. One or more of the split seals is/are positioned in one scanning region of the serial head, to print an image on the split seals. Line feed for printing on one or more split seals in the subsequent line is performed in such a manner that the line feed width is the same as the print width of the serial head. Consequently, the entire image is formed on one split seal without conveying the paper sheet (performing line feed). Even if a pitch between lines becomes non-uniform in conveyance of the paper sheet, the image on the split seal is not degraded.
