Provided is a patch panel () on which a plurality of mounting frames (A,B), to which various kinds of adapters including a LC adapter (Q) and a SC adapter (Q) for electrical or optical communication, and a modular adapter (Q) for telephone are attached by appropriately combining the adapters, are mounted in an insertable manner through a window opening () from the front side of the patch panel (). The patch panel () is provided with a window frame () set to a predetermined length dimension so that the mounting frames (A,B) having a port specification different from one another can be mounted in a mixed manner in array by a reasonable number.
