A biological information detection device includes a main body portion, a heartbeat detection portion, formed integrally with the main body portion, which has electrodes that come into contact with a biological surface, and a fixing band, detachably provided to the main body portion, which mounts the main body portion and the heartbeat detection portion to a user. A sealing portion for securing sealing of an electrical connection portion is provided in the periphery of the electrical connection portion that electrically connects the main body portion to the electrodes of the heartbeat detection portion.

Biological information detection device

A biological information detection device has a device main body and a biological signal detection portion formed integrally with the device main body. The detection portion has at least one electrode for contacting a biological surface of a human body. A mounting portion mounts the main body and the detection portion to a human body without the mounting portion being directly attached to the detection portion. The main body and the detection portion are integrally connected by a mechanical connection portion that mechanically connects the main body and the detection portion to each other, and by an electrical connection portion that electrically connects the main body and the electrode of the detection portion to each other. The mechanical connection portion and the electrical connection portion are positioned relative one another so as not to be arranged alongside a load direction of an external force acting on the mechanical connection portion.

A watch is offered in which the life of the threadedly engaged portion between the stem pipe and the crown can be improved and which has an internal thread capable of being machined relative to the crown easily and accurately. The watch is based on a watch in which the crown is threadedly locked to a stem pipe mounted to a barrel. The stem pipe has a barrel outside protruding portion provided with an external thread. The crown has a crown shaft and a crown ring having an internal thread removably threaded to the external thread, the ring being connected to the crown shaft. The crown shaft has a barrel insertion cylindrical portion which is smaller in diameter than the crown ring and inserted in the stem pipe and a ring connection portion mounted integrally with this cylindrical portion and connected to one end portion of the crown ring.

Watch and crown used in this watch

To provide a wristwatch in which an attachment/detachment operation of an end piece of a band in regard to bow feet of a case band is easy. A concave part is formed in a back face of an end piece of a band and, under a state in which the piece is received in a bow crotch between adjoining bow feet, through-holes facing on attachment holes of the bow feet are respectively provided in side walls of the piece. The rotation member is rotatably held in the concave part. From one end to the other end, one pair of cam holes of shapes in which distances in regard to a center of a rotation member become gradually small are point-symmetrically provided in the rotation member, and a rotation operation groove is provided between these cam holes. Connection end parts of one pair of connection members forming L-shapes are passed through the through-holes, and cam follower end parts of the connection members are inserted into the cam holes. There is made such that, when the rotation member is rotated and the cam follower end parts are disposed in the one ends of the cam holes, the connection end parts are inserted into the attachment holes and, when the rotation member is rotated and the cam follower end parts are disposed in the other ends of the cam holes, the connection end parts are pull-drawn from the attachment holes.

Wristwatch and band for wristwatch

A timepiece has an annular case band having a front side end part that protrudes radially inwardly toward the inside of a case band and defines a front opening of the case band. A case back is detachably attached to a back side end part of the case band. An annular edge member seats on a front surface of the front side end part and has a tubular part removably inserted into the front opening of the case and, the tubular part having an annular attaching groove that opens to an outer periphery of the tubular part, and a glass is fixed to the edge member. An elastically deformable open-ended snap ring is detachably attached to the attaching groove in an elastically deformed state, and the snap ring abuts a back surface of the front side end part of the case band so that the front side end part is held between the edge member and the snap ring. The snap ring is detachable from the attaching groove when elastically expanded by a tool inserted from the back side of the case band to enable removal of the edge member and glass as a unit from the case band for repair or replacement.

Timepiece having glass and glass-holding member removable as a unit from case band

A timepiece has a case band having a front side end part that projects inwardly toward the hollow interior of the case band and terminates in a front opening. A case back is detachably attached to a back side end part of the case band. A glass is fixed to an annular edge member that seats on a front face of the front side end part. The edge member has a tubular part slidably inserted into the front opening and threadedly engaged with an annular attaching member in the interior of the case whereby the front side end part of the case band is sandwiched and held between the edge member and attaching member. By detaching the case back and using a tool to unthread the attaching member from the edge member, the edge member and glass can be removed as a unit from the case band for repair or replacement.

To obtain a degree of freedom in a design of a circumference part of a timepiece armor assembly, and provide a watch whose degree of freedom in a size of a dial is high. A timepiece armor assembly is formed of an armor case of one-piece structure in which a case bottom wall and a case band part provided with a crown have been monolithically molded and of an armor cover which has a transparent member and an edge member supporting a circumference edge of the former member and has been mounted to the case band part. In the armor assembly, a timepiece movement which has a movement main body and a winding stem attached to this main body so as to be capable of being inserted into or detached from it and connected to the crown, and a dial are built, and a winding stem attachment/detachment mechanism which makes an insertion/detachment of the winding stem into/from the main body possible is provided. The winding stem attachment/detachment mechanism possesses an engagement body which has a stopper part engaged with or disengaged from a groove (engagement part) of the winding stem, and an engagement/disengagement operation body which causes the stopper partto engage with or disengage from the grooveby follow-moving the engagement body. The engagement/disengagement operation body is provided in the case bottom wall so as to be capable of being operated from an outside of the armor case.

Watch

A watch has a crown threadedly locked to a stem pipe mounted to a barrel. The barrel has a pipe installation hole and a threaded hole that extends perpendicular to and in communication with the pipe installation hole. The stem pipe has an insertion portion and a barrel outside protruding portion. The insertion portion is inserted in the pipe installation hole such that the insertion portion can be withdrawn from outside the barrel. The barrel outside protruding portion is disposed outside the barrel and has an external thread to which the crown is removably threaded. An engaging recessed portion is formed in the outer surface of the insertion portion. An annular waterproof packing is sandwiched between the pipe installation hole and the insertion portion. A mounting screw is threaded into the threaded hole so as to be removable back and forth. A front-end portion of the mounting screw is inserted in the engaging recessed portion to hold the stem pipe to the barrel.

Watch equipped with crown locking structure

To provide a portable timepiece having high durability constructed by a constitution capable of promoting operability of attaching and detaching a crown and holding a crown in an unoperated state so as not to rotate the crown unpreparedly. In a winding stem pipe attached to a case body, a crown urged in a direction of separating from the case body by a coil spring (urging member) included in a crown cylinder portion of the pipe is removably provided to a case body outside projected portion of the winding stem pipe. An outer periphery of the case body outside projected portion is formed with a plurality of communicating grooves along a rotational direction of the crown, a plurality of attaching and detaching through grooves communicated to the communicating grooves and opened to an end face of the case body outside projected portion, and a plurality of holding grooves communicated with the communicating grooves and formed in a dead end state and contiguous to the through grooves. A plurality of engaging projected portion brought to and from the respective grooves are provided at a cover portion of the crown covering the case body outside projected portion.

Portable timepiece

To provide a wristwatch in which a band can be easily attached to and detached from a case band without using an exclusive tool, in which a sufficient attachment strength with respect to the case band can be ensured, and moreover whose use feeling is good. Bow feet each of which has an attachment hole are protrusively provided in a case band, and a bow crotch receiving an end piece (case band connection end part) of a band capable of being attached to and detached from the case band so as to be capable of being put in and taken out is formed between the bow feet. An operation opening is provided in the end piece. A coupler having possessed a tubular rotation body and coupling axles is internally mounted in the end piece. The tubular rotation body has female screws, and the coupling axles are meshed with these female screws. The tubular rotation body is provided while facing on the operation opening, and manual-rotation-operated from an outside of the end piece. The coupling axles are locked to the end piece, and provided so as to be capable of being protruded and immersed with respect to an end face of the end piece in its width direction in accordance with the rotation of the tubular rotation body. The coupling axles having been protruded and immersed are inserted into and withdrawn from the attachment holes, so that an attachment/detachment of the band with respect to the case band is made possible.

Wristwatch and band timepiece

To provide a portable timepiece in which the maintenance of a winding stem pipe and its surroundings is facilitated. Basically provided is a portable timepiece comprising a winding stem pipe releasably screwed into a pipe attachment opening of a case band, in which portable timepiece an accidental rotation of a crown is avoided by bringing a crown head of the crown into screw-engagement with a pipe end of the winding stem pipe disposed outside of the case band such that the crown head caps the pipe end. A ring receiver is formed on one of the pipe attachment opening and an insert portion of the winding stem pipe screwed into the opening. A soft and resilient friction ring is supported on the other of the pipe attachment opening and the insert portion. The friction ring is resiliently brought into tight contact with the ring receiver to prevent a rotation of the winding stem pipe. Thus, the portable timepiece of the invention is characterized in that an accidental rotation of the winding stem pipe which may be caused during operation of the crown is prevented, and that the winding stem pipe is releasable from the case band at the time of maintenance.

Winding stem pipe with friction ring

To provide a portable timepiece capable of interchanging a part at a surrounding of a crown when a screw lock function is deteriorated. A premise is established by a portable timepiece screwing to lock a crown urged in a direction of separating from a case body by a coil spring (urging member) included in a winding stem pipe to the winding stem pipe attached to the case body. The winding stem pipe includes a winding stem pipe main body inserted into a pipe attaching hole of the case body and fixed in liquid tight by using a brazing member, and a ring fitted to a case body outside projected portion of the main body removably by being stopped to rotate and provided with a male screw portion to which the crown is removably screwed at an outer periphery thereof. A ring holding member is pinched between the ring and a holding portion of the case body outside projected portion. The ring holding member holds the ring at an outer periphery of the case body outside projected portion and releases the ring from being held thereby when an external force sufficient for releasing the holding state is exerted to the ring.

To provide a timepiece whose bezel can be easily attached and detached by a user without requiring a special-purpose tool. A male screw, an annular groove disposed downwardly away from the male screw and an annular clearance groove positioned between the annular groove and the male screw are provided on the outer periphery of an annular convex of a case band to which a cover glass is attached. A soft and resilient engagement ring is fitted to the annular groove such that the engagement ring projects out from the annular groove. A bezel includes on its inner periphery a female screw disposed within the clearance groove for releasably engaging with the male screw and an annular engagement convex having a stopper slope. The stopper slope is disposed below the female screw to tightly contact with the outer periphery of the ring. The bezel attached in a condition in which the ring tightly contacts with the stopper slope is rotated in a loosening direction of the bezel through a screw-engagement between the screws. Subsequently, the engagement convex passes through the ring upwardly to be positioned above the ring, and the bezel is finally separated.
