In the case where an event occurs in game software being executed, an event information acquiring section acquires, from the game software, event information including an event code that identifies the event that has occurred. An update processing section updates a record associated with the acquired event information in a first memory. A transmission processing section sends the acquired event information from a communication unit to outside.

A first ring buffer records a game moving image by game software currently being executed, together with time information. A set of one or more activities available to a user based on the current user status may be identified. One or more actions may be filtered based on availability to the user and the current user status for each identified activity. A subset of the filtered actions may be displayed.

Context-based action suggestions

A system and method for generating an integrated interface is provided. A user dataset of a user, a peer dataset of a peer user, and interactive titles available to the user are stored in memory. A network interface establishes a session with a user device associated with the first user. A processor executes instructions stored in memory, wherein execution of the instructions by the processor constructs a group of interactive activities based on the sets of one or more activities of each interactive title, a user presence based on the first user dataset, and a peer presence based on the peer dataset and displays the set of interactive activities, the user presence, and the peer presence on an integrated interface displayed on the first user device.

Integrated interfaces for dynamic user experiences

Computer implemented methods and systems for providing a uniform data platform for at least one application of a plurality of applications are disclosed. Exemplary methods include receiving application data from at least one of a device and a server, a device executing a portion of an application of a plurality of applications, storing the application data in a data platform, the data model including at least one metadata and at least one event, the one metadata corresponding to at least one object indicated in the data model, and the one event corresponding to a trigger condition associated with the one metadata entry, wherein values of the one metadata and one event are associated with a user profile and accessing via a plurality of remote networked services, the application data stored in the data platform, the plurality of remote network services accessing the application data using the data model.

Data model for uniform data platform

A system and method for initiating a multiuser session is provided. A plurality of multiuser activities and a plurality of activities templates may be stored in memory. A user profile for a user and a peer profile for each of one or more peers may be received. The user and the one or more peers may be members of an initial session. A user selection specifying one of the filtered multiuser activities may be received. An activity template associated with the selected activity may be retrieved. Such retrieved activity template may provide activity requirements required to launch the selected activity. A multiuser session may be established that includes session requirements based on at least the activity requirements. The user and at least one peer from the initial session may be added to the multiuser session. The selected activity may be launched in the multiuser session.

Initiating multiuser sessions

A login management sectionallows a user to log in to an information processing apparatus. A status management sectionmanages the status of the information processing apparatus. A change instruction acceptance sectionaccepts an instruction for change from a server. When the user has logged in to the information processing apparatusthat in turn has signed in to a service, the status management sectionmanages the information processing apparatusin either an active status or a listen status. The active status is a status in which the information processing apparatusis in an online state and allowed to use the service, and the listen status is a status in which the information processing apparatusis in an offline state that disables game execution and is allowed to use the service.

Information processing apparatus, server system, and status management method

An information processing system is provided which determines whether a session in which an invited user has been invited to participate is still valid or not before participation in the session. The information processing system includes: storing status information indicating whether each of a plurality of sessions offering a service possibly participated in by the user is valid or not; and storing a plurality of items of invitation information about a plurality of invitations each being an invitation for the invited user to participate in one of the sessions. Each client device acquires one of the plurality of items of invitation information about the invitation for the user using the client device to become the invited user, and displays on a display screen the acquired item of invitation information in a manner reflecting the status information.

A game device includes: a first requirement achievement determining unit operative to determine whether or not a requirement of gameplay predefined in a game is achieved based on a progress status of the game; a second requirement achievement determining unit operative to determine whether or not a result of determination by the first requirement achievement determining unit meets a predetermined condition; a display processing unit operative to display information related to the requirement of gameplay determined by the first requirement achievement determining unit as being achieved, and information related to the predetermined condition determined by the second requirement achievement determining unit as being met, where the first requirement achievement determining unit is implemented by game software and the second requirement achievement determining unit is implemented by system software.

Game device

An acquisition unit acquires presence information of an information processing device of another via server. When the acquisition unit acquires pieces of presence information including the same user account from two or more information processing devices, a status image generation unit generates a status image indicating a status of the user identified by the user account, by referring to the latest presence information. In order to represent the status of the user, the status image generation unit includes a name of an application being run by the user in the status image.
