The present invention aims to provide a luminescent system enabling contactless power supply, having a high ratio of light emission region, and securing a desired quantity of emitted light. The luminescent system is constituted by an organic EL device and a fixed-side wall surface. The device is formed by stacking an electrode layer of an anode side, an organic light-emitting layer, and a transparent electrode layer of a cathode side on a substrate and being sealed by a sealing part. Electrodes with a planar expanse are stacked on a face near the wall surface and are arranged so as to overlap a light emitting region where the organic light-emitting layer is disposed. Electrodes with a planar expanse are embedded in the wall surface. A power unit is electrically connected between the electrodes. The electrodes of the device and of the wall surface are opposite each other across a flooring material.

Luminescent system and organic EL device

One aspect of the present invention provides an organic EL module that can easily change a layout according to an installation environment while a characteristic of the organic EL module is taken advantage of. The organic EL module includes: an organic EL device in which a first electrode layer, a functional layer, and a second electrode layer are stacked on a substrate having a planar expanse, at least one of planes of the organic EL device constituting a light emitting surface; and at least three connector units that are arranged on a back side of the light emitting surface. At this point, the connector unit is arranged with a planar expanse, the connector unit includes feeding terminals, and the feeding terminals are electrically connected in parallel to one another and electrically connected to the first electrode layer or the second electrode layer.

Organic electroluminescence module and organic-electroluminescence- module feeding structure

Provided is a high-luminance, long-life laminated organic electroluminescent element. The organic electroluminescent element has a composition in which a plurality of light-emitting units, including at least one organic light-emitting layer, are laminated between a positive electrode and a negative electrode, and in which a linking layer is held between the respective light-emitting units. The linking layer is formed by laminating, in succession from the positive electrode side, an electron generating/transport section, an intermediate layer, and a hole generating/transport section, which contain at least one metal selected from a group consisting of an alkali metal, alkaline earth metal, rare earth metal, alloy of these metals, and compound of these metals. Preferably the intermediate layer contains an electrical insulating non-semiconductive substance having a specific resistance which is between 1.0&#xd7;10&#x3a9;&#xb7;cm and 1.0&#xd7;10&#x3a9;&#xb7;cm.
