A production method of a liquid crystal display device that is constructed by placing liquid crystals between a first substrate and a second substrate. The production method includes a step of applying seal material onto the first substrate such that the seal material surrounds a liquid crystal filling area, and a step of bonding the first substrate and the second substrate together. The layer of the seal material is formed such that the thickness becomes smaller than the thickness of the liquid crystal layer in the portion corresponding to the display area when the first substrate and the second substrate are bonded together.

Disclosed herein is a method of manufacturing a liquid crystal display device of dropping liquid crystals to be interposed between a first substrate and a second substrate to one of the substrates. The method includes a step of applying the sealant to one of the substrates where a region closed by the sealant is formed by a sealant on the main surface of the substrate, and, in this closed region, a liquid crystal filling region as a display region and a capturing region to the outer periphery of the liquid crystal filling region for intaking surplus liquid crystals or voids are formed.

In the binder particles of the component (A) being dispersed by the component (B) in an aqueous medium resulting from suspension polymerization of the at least one vinyl monomer in water containing the water soluble polymer as a dispersion stabilizer.
