RFID chip () having various types of data is mounted on liquid syringe (). Chemical liquid injector () obtains the various types of data from RFID chip () to perform a predetermined operation in accordance with at least some of the various types of data. For, example, a variable pattern for liquid can be recorded on RFID chip () of liquid syringe () to allow chemical liquid injector () to inject the liquid in accordance with the predetermined variable pattern. Thus, a large amount of data can be easily input to the chemical liquid injector to perform the various operations.

Chemical liquid injection system

A medical image system comprises a medical imaging apparatus, an injector, and a hospital management server having database. The injector has (a) communicating means for allowing communication with the hospital management server; and (b) a patient identifying portion which includes a detecting means for detecting patient-specific information and a means for transmitting the recognized information, further comprising (c) checking means being provided for at least one of the hospital management server and the injector or being provided as a separate apparatus, the means receives information transmitted from the patient identifying portion, and checks the received information to identify the patient.

A piston adapter has a flange holding mechanism mounted on a distal end thereof for releasably holding a piston flange of a piston of a rodless syringe, a manual operating member disposed on a tip end of the piston adapter for being manually operated, and an interlink mechanism for releasing the flange holding mechanism from the piston flange in conjunction with manual operation of the manual operating member. After the piston adapter is mounted on the piston of the rodless syringe and inserted into the cylinder thereof, the flange holding mechanism can be released from the piston in the cylinder by manually operating the manual operating member near the tip end of the piston adapter which is exposed from the cylinder. Even when the piston adapter that is mounted on the piston of the rodless syringe is pressed into the cylinder, the piston adapter can easily be removed from the rodless syringe.
