An overcurrent protection circuit includes an amplifier configured to amplify an inter-terminal voltage of a shunt resistor, an offset application circuit configured to allow the amplifier to provide an output with a predetermined offset voltage additionally applied thereto, a first comparator that compares an output voltage from the amplifier with a predetermined first reference voltage higher than the offset voltage to output a through-current sensing signal when the output voltage from the amplifier is higher than a first reference voltage, and an amplifier failure determination circuit that compares the output voltage from the amplifier with a predetermined second reference voltage that is higher than zero and lower than the offset voltage to output an amplification circuit failure determination signal corresponding to a result of the comparison.

Overcurrent protection circuit

Provided are a chain component that has a simple surface treatment structure and can maintain good wear resistance over a long time, and a chain that includes the chain component and maintains good wear elongation resistance. The chain component of a power transmission chain for industrial use includes a chromium nitride layer formed on an outer side of a steel base material and containing more than 0 mass % but not more than 55 mass % iron. At least a surface of the chromium nitride layer that slides against other components is a rough surface with peaks and valleys.

Chain component and chain

A chain component which has a simple surface treatment structure and in which satisfactory wear resistance is maintained for a long term; and a chain which employs this chain component so that a satisfactory wear elongation resistance is maintained are provided. A roller chain serving as an industrial chain for power transmission is constructed such that a pair of outer plates linked by two pins and a pair of inner plates linked together by two bushes onto each of which a roller is fit are alternately linked together in a plurality in a state that each pin is loosely fit in each bush. A chromium nitride layer is formed on the outer side of the steel-based substrate of the pin. The chromium nitride layer contains iron at a content higher than 0 mass % and lower than or equal to 55 mass %.

A power module includes a multilayer circuit board, and first and second three-phase inverters, which are mounted on the multilayer circuit board to be stacked each other. A positive-electrode-side power source conductive trace of the first three-phase inverter and a negative-electrode-side power source conductive trace of the second three-phase inverter are disposed to at least partially face each other in a stacking direction of the multilayer circuit board, such that currents respectively flow through the power source conductive traces in opposite directions in a facing section. A negative-electrode-side power source conductive trace of the first three-phase inverter and a positive-electrode-side power source conductive trace of the second three-phase inverter are disposed to at least partially face each other in the stacking direction of the multilayer circuit board), such that currents respectively flow through the power source conductive traces in opposite directions in a facing section.

Power module

A vehicle control device includes a drive motor and an engaging/disengaging mechanism having a function to permit and cut off torque transmission between the drive motor and wheels. The vehicle control device further includes a smoothing capacitor that smoothes electric power applied from a secondary battery, a drive circuit for the drive motor, a drive circuit for the engaging/disengaging mechanism, and a microprocessor for controlling each drive circuit. If it is determined that a collision of a vehicle has occurred, the microprocessor disconnects each drive circuit from the secondary battery, and outputs a command to disengage the engaging/disengaging mechanism.

Vehicle control device

A drive circuit device includes a circuit board having a multilayer structure, which includes first to fourth circuit conductor layers, and first to third insulating layers; and heat sinks that dissipate heat of the circuit board to an outside. An upper FET state is embedded in the first insulating layer, and a lower FET state is embedded in the second insulating layer. The upper FET and the lower FET are disposed so that a region in which the upper FET is positioned and a region in which the lower FET is positioned overlap each other in a stacking direction. A lead-out portion is formed at a second circuit pattern of the circuit conductor layer, the lead-out portion extending from the circuit board in a direction orthogonal to the stacking direction, and being connected to the heat sinks so that heat is transferred to the heat sinks.

Drive circuit device

In a circuit board, a control pattern portion in which control circuit patterns are formed and a drive pattern portion in which drive circuit patterns are formed are formed in different regions. A recessed portion is formed in a base, and the drive pattern portion is fixed to the base such that insulation between a drive circuit and the base is maintained and the control pattern portion is arranged above the recessed portion. In this way, a space in which a circuit element is able to be mounted is formed between the control pattern portion and the recessed portion.

Control unit for electric motor and vehicle steering system including the same

A motor control multilayer printed wiring board includes: a multilayer printed wiring board having a plurality of laminated conductor layers; an upper-row FET connected to the conductor layers and configured to control a motor; a lower-row FET connected to the conductor layers and arranged at a location at which the lower-row FET overlaps with the upper-row FET in a laminated direction in which the conductor layers are laminated, the lower-row FET being configured to control the motor; and a heat dissipation mechanism arranged on the multilayer printed wiring board and arranged at a location at which the heat dissipation mechanism overlaps with at least one of the upper-row FET and the lower-row FET in the laminated direction.

Motor control multilayer circuit board

An electric power steering apparatus () comprises a control device (), which controls driving of an electric motor () based on the detection signals from a rotational position-detecting sensor (A), which detects the rotational position of the rotor () of the electric motor (), and a steering status detecting sensor (A). The control device () is housed in a housing () that is partitioned by a first housing (), which is at least a portion of the motor housing () for the electric motor (), and a second housing (A;B) that touches the first housing (). At least one of the rotational position-detecting sensor (A) and steering state detecting sensor (A) is connected to the control device () by means of only a signal wire () inside the first housing () or the second housing (A;B).

Vehicle steering apparatus and manufacturing method of same

A motor control device for driving a brushless motor includes a current detecting unit which detects respective phase currents which flow into the brushless motor; a control calculation unit which calculates instruction values showing respective phase voltages to be applied to the brushless motor, and outputs the instruction values as phase voltage instruction values; a phase resistance calculation unit which calculates respective phase resistance values based on detection values of the respective phase currents detected by the current detecting unit, and the instruction values of the respective phase voltages applied to the brushless motor at the time of the detection of the detection values; a correction unit which corrects the phase voltage instruction values according to the respective phase resistance values calculated by the phase resistance calculation unit; and a driving unit which drives the brushless motor based on the phase voltage instruction values after correction by the correction unit.

Motor control device and electric power steering device

A multilayer circuit substrate includes: a laminated circuit portion in which conductive layers and resin insulating layers are alternately laminated; and a metal substrate portion, wherein the laminated circuit portion is fixed to the metal substrate portion so that at least part of a lower surface of the laminated circuit portion is in contact with at least part of an upper surface of the metal substrate portion. An electronic component is mounted on the metal substrate portion.

Multilayer circuit substrate

In a motor control device, a control calculation unit obtains a phase voltage instruction value. A current detecting unit detects an electric current which flows into the brushless motor. A rotational position detecting unit detects the rotational position of a rotor in the brushless motor. A correction unit corrects the phase voltage instruction value based on the detection results of the current detecting unit and the rotational position detecting unit so that a dependency of a ratio on an electric angle shown by a secondary harmonic component of the ratio concerning the electric angle of the brushless motor. The ratio is a ratio of a q-axis or d-axis component of the electric current, which flows into the brushless motor, to a q-axis or d-axis instruction value. A driving unit drives the brushless motor based on the phase voltage instruction value after the correction by the correction unit.

Disclosed is a vehicle steering apparatus () equipped with a control device () which controls the actuation of an electric motor (). First and second housings (), which are in contact with each other, partition off an accommodation chamber () which contains the control device (). The first housing () is at least one part of the motor housing (). The first housing () includes a first interior wall surface () which partially partitions the accommodation chamber (). The second housing () includes a second interior wall surface () which partially partitions the accommodation chamber (). The first and the second interior wall surfaces () are opposite each other with respect to the axial direction (X) of a rotatable shaft () of an electric motor (). The second interior wall surface () includes the flat annular surface that surrounds a central axis (C) of the rotatable shaft () and an extension (C) of the central axis (C). The flat circular surface is orthogonal to the central axis (C) and the extension (C) of same.

Vehicle steering apparatus

A vehicle steering apparatus () comprises: a control device () which controls an actuation of an electric motor (); a control housing (H) which partitions an accommodation chamber () which accommodates the control device (); an adjacent housing (A) which is adjacent to the control housing (H); and a heat-conducting member (A;B;C;D;E). The adjacent housing (A) is opposite to the electric motor () with the control housing (H) interposed therebetween. The heat-conducting element (A;B;C;D;E) comprises: an adjacent section () which is adjacent to a heat-generating element () of the control device () so that heat can be conducted; and a connected section (A;B;C;D;E) that is connected to the adjacent housing (A) so that heat can be conducted.

A multilayer circuit board in which wirings are arranged so that the inductance thereof is reduced. A ground wiring and a power source wiring which are provided in a multilayer circuit board are arranged so that most of the wirings are superposed vertically along a direction of a longer side of the circuit board, and since currents flow in an opposite direction to each other in the portions which are superposed, magnetic fields generated by the currents so flowing are canceled by each other. Similarly, a W-phase wiring, a V-phase wiring and a W-phase wiring are also arranged so that the wirings are partially superposed along their longer side direction vertically, and magnetic fields generated by currents flowing in the portions which are superposed vertically are canceled by one another. By this, the inductance of the wirings can be reduced by increasing a mutual inductance between these wirings.
