A sterilization device includes: a processing chamber in which a fluid passing through a straightener flows in a first direction, the straightener being provided at an inlet of the processing chamber; a plurality of light emitting devices arranged in an array on a plane facing the straightener in the first direction, sandwiching the processing chamber, and irradiating the fluid in the processing chamber with ultraviolet light; a light source chamber that houses the plurality of light emitting devices inside; and a discharge path provided to the side of the light source chamber and allowing the fluid passing through the processing chamber to flow in the first direction.

Sterilization device using straightener and UV LED array facing the straightener

A light-emitting module includes: a package substrate that is provided with a recessed portion having an opening at an upper surface thereof; a light-emitting device that is housed in the recessed portion; a window member that is provided on the upper surface such that the window member covers the opening; and a sealing portion that bonds the package substrate and the window member. The window member includes a lens portion facing the light-emitting device and a flange portion that projects from the lens portion and bonds to the sealing portion. The lens portion and the flange portion are formed of the same glass material.

A sterilization apparatus is provided with: a light source, which has a semiconductor light-emitting element that emits ultraviolet light; a housing, which forms a flow passage through which a fluid subject to sterilization passes; a light receiving unit, which receives a portion of the ultraviolet light emitted from the light source and detects the amount of ultraviolet light that has been received; and a control unit, which controls the output of the semiconductor light-emitting element based on information regarding the amount of ultraviolet light acquired from the light receiving unit. The housing has an incidence portion on which ultraviolet light becomes incident and a reflection portion, which reflects the ultraviolet light at the inner surface thereof. The light receiving unit is provided at a position where the light receiving unit can receive the portion of ultraviolet light that has been transmitted through the reflection portion.

Fluid sterilization apparatus

A fluid sterilization device includes: a housing formed with a processing passage for sterilizing a fluid passing through the processing passage; a light source that radiates ultraviolet toward the processing passage; and a transmissive member provided between the light source and the processing passage and transmitting the ultraviolet light radiated by the light source. The transmissive member is a one-piece component including: a focusing part that focuses the ultraviolet light radiated by the light source toward the processing passage by refracting or reflecting the ultraviolet light; an exit part that guides the ultraviolet light transmitted through the focusing part toward the processing passage, and a supported part formed on an outer circumference of the exit part to be contiguous with the exit part, and supported by the housing. The exit part is exposed to the processing passage.
