A brazing sheet includes a core material containing an aluminum alloy including magnesium, a bonding material laminated on at least one side of the core material, and a flux layer. The flux layer is laminated on one side of the bonding material and includes a flux composition. The flux composition includes [A] a flux component containing KAlF, and [B] AlF. A substance mass S1 (mol) of magnesium in the bonding material when heated at 585&#xb0; C., a substance mass S2 (mol) of [A] the flux component containing KAlFin the flux layer and a substance mass S3 (mol) of [B] AlFsatisfy the specific expression.

Brazing sheet and flux composition

Disclosed is a flux composition for use in brazing of an aluminum alloy material and includes a flux component [A] containing KAlF; and a fluoride [B] containing an element other than Group 1 elements and Group 2 elements and containing no potassium (K). Also disclosed is a brazing sheet which includes an aluminum alloy core; a filler material lying on or over at least one side of the core; and a flux layer lying on or over one side of the filler material and including the flux composition.

An aluminum alloy for use in a plate-fin heat exchanger having a heat transfer portion with seawater as a coolant includes an organic phosphonic acid underlying coating disposed on the surface of the aluminum alloy and a fluorocarbon resin coating disposed on the organic phosphonic acid underlying coating, the fluorocarbon resin coating having an average thickness of 1 to 100 &#x3bc;m after drying. The aluminum alloy has improved durability of coating adhesion and excellent seawater corrosion resistance.

A reflective film laminate is provided with high productivity and at low cost in which a protective film with minimized pinholes is provided to improve the alkali resistance and warm water resistance of the reflective film laminate including a pure Al film or an Al-based alloy film so that a reflectivity reduction resulting from the elution or oxidization of the Al film in an alkaline or warm water environment is less likely to occur. The reflective film laminate of the present invention includes, over a substrate, a pure Al film or an Al-based alloy film as a first layer, and an oxide film of a metal containing one or more elements selected from the group consisting of Zr, Cr, Y, Nb, Hf, Ta, W, Ti, Si, and Mo as a second layer over the first layer. The thickness of the second layer is 0.1 to 10 nm.

An aluminum alloy clad sheet for heat exchangers includes a core layer, a sacrificial layer disposed on one side of the core layer, and a brazing layer of an Al&#x2014;Si alloy disposed on the other side of the core layer, wherein the core layer contains Si: 0.15% to 1.6% by mass, Mn: 0.3% to 2.0% by mass, Cu: 0.1% to 1.0% by mass, Ti: 0.02% to 0.30% by mass, and the remainder of Al and incidental impurities, and the sacrificial layer contains Zn: 4.0% to 10.0% by mass, Cr: 0.01% to 0.5% by mass, and the remainder of Al and incidental impurities.
